Summer
If the seasons are like a clock, then Summer is high noon. There are certain summers that shine golden in my mind. Like the summer I fell in love for the first time or the summer I was pregnant with Jacob.
I am open to see if this summer will be in that winners circle of summers. Only time will tell.

Here is my sweet pink roses and unicorn filled altar ready for Summer. Tonight, I get to spend the first day of Summer with my one of my favorite people in the world. Indeed, summer is starting off sweet.

Here is more inspiration here and here how to celebrate the summer solstice.I am wishing you all a wonderful first day of Summer.

Happy Summer Solstice
Happy Summer Solstice, my friends. It is the first
day of Summer. I got this nifty sun pinata from
Party City for $1.49. Now that's a great bargain.

I did up my altar all in colors of the Sun. Citrine,
orange calacite, sunstone with an orange and bits of
chamomile. Of course, this bright yellow candle. Yes,
I light my candles in the daytime too.😊 I cleaned
up my space with lemongrass oil. Love, love lemongrass.

Do you have any Summer dreams or goals? I am still doing
rewrites on my fantasy screenplay that I'm cowriting. I
plan on uping my fitness goals. I am down to a 10/12. Get
to a 8/10 by September. Those are two main summer goals
along with planning a fun summer for Jacob. What are your
Summer dreams? Please share in the comments, I love to read
it. Yes, I do adore comments.
Wishing you all a wonderful Summer Solstice.🌞☀️

Summer Solstice and The Full Moon
Happy Summer Solstice. Today marks the longest day of the year, the beginning of Summer by the calendar and the sign Cancer begins to.
We have fire and water energy swirling all around us.
This beautiful lady that I got from dollar tree is my own personal Goddess of Summer. I gave her the name Hokulani which means in Hawaiian: Divine Star. I put Hokulani on my wall to remind me for this Summer to have fun, feel free, and dance to my own inner music.

What does Summer mean to you? Do you have any fun plans for Summer?
Here are things to do to welcome Summer:
Get up with the dawn and greet the Sun.
Wear a daisy or a rose in your hair today.
Burn yellow, orange, or blue candles.
Leave a dish with butter or milk for the Faeries.
Make a list of fun events to go to this Summer.
Wear the color blue in your clothes and wear shell jewerly to get that Mermaid/ Merman feel.
Read the young adult book Seven Tears into The Sea by Terri Farley and Seal Island by Kate Brailler. Both delve into stories about Mer people. Perfect for the Summer.
Dive into stories of these African Goddesses connected to mother Ocean: Yemaya, Oshun and Mami Wata.

And to top it off it's The Full Moon in Sagittarius. This Full Moon is better known as The Honeymoon.
All my Sagittarius Moon and Sun babies this is your moon. Sagittarius is the Great Archer in the sky. Use the lively energy of Sagittarius to give a fiery push to your Summer plans. Maybe throw in something that is slightly unlike you. Challenge yourself to grow this Summer. I am challenging myself to increase my exercising to get to a specific weight goal.
It is a jam packed Monday, my friends. Remember the energy of the Full Moon will last into Wednesday. Make it a great Monday and have an amazing start of Summer.

Summer is Here!
Happy Summer Solstice, my friends. Summer is finally here. Are you a Heliophilia? I am. It is a person who has desire to stay in the sun;Lover of Sunlight. Of course, stay safe in the sun and wear sunscreen.
It seemed at first if we have a gray day, now the sun and blue skies are shinning through. Yay!☺

Even if it's a rainy or cloudy day on this first day of Summer, you can still have that Summer feeling. Think back to one of your favorite summer memories. One of my favorite memories is the july when I was 12. I went for a month to this great day camp at a local state park.I got to swim, play, run and bask in the sun. There was a camp counselor named Miguel. He was 16 and so cute. I had the biggest crush on him. I think now looking back he was a little sweet on me too. Miguel would endlessly tease and talk to me. When my month ended, I was so sad. There is a great footnote to this story.
Many years later, as an adult, I on was the subway going to work. Someone called my name, and I looked up and it was Miguel! He still looked the same. I had, of course, never forgotten him and it made my day to know he still remembered me.

Here is a short visualization to tune into that Summer energy. Close your eyes. Imagine it is an ideal Summer day for you. You can be anywhere in the world you wish. For me, it is being in a meadow of wildflowers. Lay down in your ideal place is. You have on your favorite piece of clothing in the world. Your feet are bare. The sun is directly overhead. Now, all that is left is to bask in the summer sun. Let all your cares and worries slip away. Feel the sun on your skin, smell the sweet air of Summer, and become one with the sunlight. You can stay here as long and as short as you wish. When you are ready, open your eyes.
Also, Happy Father's Day to all the Fathers out there especially my husband, Sean.
May this First day of Summer and the longest day of the year brings you joy, beauty and happiness. I hope you all have enjoyed my weekend posts in celebration of The Summer and The Summer Solstice. Let's make it a great Summer, everyone.

Midsummer's Eve

"A splendid Midsummer shone over England: skies so pure, suns so radiant as were then seen in long succession, seldom favour even singly, our wave-girt land. It was as if a band of Italian days had come from the South, like a flock of glorious passenger birds, and lighted to rest them on the cliffs of Albion. The hay was all got in; the fields round Thornfield were green and shorn; the roads white and baked; the trees were in their dark prime; hedge and wood, full-leaved and deeply tinted, contrasted well with the sunny hue of the cleared meadows between."
Jane Eyre, Chapter 23 by Charlotte Bronte

I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,
Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,
Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,
With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine.”
― William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream
The Faeries will be out tonight and tomorrow, be on your toes. If a too handsome stranger begs a kiss from you, he may not be all that he seems. Speaking of handsome, here is one of my favorites, Jensen Ackles singing Wild Mountain Thyme. Which is perfect for this Midsummer's Eve. I found this song two weeks ago and have been playing it nonstop. Enjoy.
