Good energy poured into our dreams gives it a boost
of energy. That energy can magnetize people, events
and things that are needed to bring those dreams
to fruition. I will share one of my lavish dreams
with all of you.



I want to stay two nights at the famed Plaza Hotel.
I walk by it all the time since I live in New York.
Ideally, I spend my birthday there. That is one of
my big dreams that makes me happy and relaxed
thinking about it. Whatever your dream is take
time under the New Pisces Moon to write it down
and make baby steps to make it come true.

New Moon on Saturday

Happy New Moon in Pisces, my friends. This week has been extra busy.
I am ready for this new moon. Our last new moon
in winter. Spring is in Tuesday. Yay.




I have two beautiful blue candles from Dollar Tree. I am
going to choose one. Light it and say a prayer. Say thank you

Today is the Sun's day aka Sunday. It is also a new moon in the fiery sign of Leo.

It is a New Moon in Aries. Aries energy is just like it's symbol the Ram. Full of wild, strong energy ready for action.

Welcome September

Happy Thursday and September. I have to be honest with all of you, I have not been feeling excited about Autumn. I wish Summer could stay around for another month.



When I woke up today, I felt a shift. A more content feeling about welcoming September and Autumn.

Happy New Moon

New Moon Tuesday

Hello, my friends. Happy Tuesday. Today is a great day it's a New Moon in Pisces. It is also a solar eclipse, as well. I should add Happy International Woman's Day, as well.

Tuesday's energy is full of adventure, courage and inventiveness. Being it's a New Moon, this is a great day to make a new moon list of things you wish to manifest for yourself. I'm not an astrologer, I do know when it's a solar or lunar eclipse, the energy of the day is more intense. Like an extra spark of magic that resonates through out your day.

Can you feel the spring in the air? Bursts of warm weather is starting to happen now. I have noticed tiny buds on a few of the trees happening.

I decided to be very Aquarius and do something unexpected! I decided to join snapchat. Yes, so if you are on snap chat, come and follow me. I'm still getting the hang of it. It's fun. I get to watch some of my favorite you tube people on it. And the food network is on snapchat, they always have fun content every day. My username is Shellofdreams

New Year's Revolutions

Hello my friends, Happy Friday. Happy How has your first full week of the year been treating you? Good I hope. It has been so far, very interesting 2016 for me. That is a good thing.

Have you done your New Year's Resolutions? I heard someone say by accident New Year's Revolutions. I thought that is a good word. I like that. What New Year's Revolutions are you creating in your life? My main goal this year is to release more weight. I started this new get fit regime in mid November. I walk and do sprints. It's great to be outside in my local park even when it's cold. Gives me a great natural high. I'll keep you all posted on how I'm doing.

Did you pick a word for the year? Or words for the year? One of my favorite things I read was do pick a song for your theme of the year. I like that one too. 2015 my word was Wild. At first, it was real quiet. Nothing much happened. Then by Summer, that wild theme came out big time. All kind of unexpected twists and turns came into my life. I found it at times confusing yet most of the time thrilling. This year my word is Bloom. The word popped into my head one day. Intuitively it felt right, so here we are in the year of Bloom for me. One of my favorite definitions of Bloom is a time of great artistry and beauty. I am looking forward to my life to Bloom beautifully in whatever shape or form that fits me the best.


Tomorrow is the first New Moon of the year. If you dislike New Year's Resolutions or just haven't felt like the new year started off right for you, tomorrow is a great day to begin again anew. Write down what amazing things you like to manifest in 2016. They can be as small or big as you like them to be. Seriously, remember you can always restart your life anytime you want. My favorite times are New Moons, First of the Month, Thursdays, Your Birthday, First day of a new season.

Happy Spring

Hello my friends. It is a gloomy looking day in The Bronx with a threat of snow coming in the air. Snow!! Winter won't let go. At 6;45 est, Spring will officially be here. Not only is it the Spring Equinox, it is a New Moon in Aries, and a Solar Eclipse. It is a cosmically charged day, my friends.



Here is my Spring altar chock filled with roses, eggs, bunnies, crystals and shells. I have my altar up high to discourage Jacob and Jet from getting to it. Having a preschooler and a kitten around makes for a lot of highjinks especially when decorating.

I want to share with you a lovely story about Spring; also, why bunnies and eggs are connected to it. The story goes ,as I understand it, that the goddess Ostara had woken up from her slumber. Thus spring began. All the animals wanted to share an offering to her. So they did, then one sweet Bunny came up to her. The bunny had a basket of eggs with colors in the shades of flowers, sky and sunshine. Ostara was so delighted with her gift. She declared Bunnies and eggs her personal favorites. Long after new religions sprang, still bunnies and eggs remain part of Spring.

New Moon

Happy Thursday, my friends. Yesterday was the second new moon in Aquarius. Then soon, it changed into Pisces. All my Pisces friends, your birthdays are coming up. Early Happy Birthday to all of you. It is also the Chinese Lunar New Year. Happy, Happy to those celebrating the year of the Goat.

From one of my favorite mystical books called Sun Magic by Dorothy Morrison. Here are her suggestions to celebrate the New Moon.

* Dress in shades of blue and green to welcome the sun.
* Burn blue and green candles.
* Have a magical movie fest with Lord of The Rings, Excalibur, The Mists of Avalon, Harry Potter.

I would add
* listen to Ocean nature sounds with or without music.
* Tap into your inner Mermaid or Merman. Spend time daily following your feelings and letting them flow.
* Watch movies which has water themes. Here are some of my favorites: The Pirate, The Pirate Movie, Mamma Mia. There are more, my mind is going blank, you get the idea.

Enjoy this New Moon energy. Look up at the sky on Saturday, the first sliver of the moon should be out.

Aquarius Begins...

Happy Tuesday,my fellow dreamers. It is one of those cosmic days packed with celestial energy. It is the First New Moon of 2015, Aquarius and Mercury Retrograde begins today.

Let me say Happy Birthday to all my fellow Aquarians. My birthday is a few days away now.




Aquarius is frequently mistaken for a water sign. We bear the water vessel of emotions and dreams; also, We are creatures of Air:ideas, words, lyrics, poetry, imaginations. With our minds we can make our life beautiful or desolate depending on how we are feeling. We can soar in our ideas and manifest them ingenious ways. I for one, want to say, I'm not one of those oft quoted cold Aquarians who don't feel. Aquarians feel deeply. Some are better covering it up than others.




Being Air is our element, it can help us when we are feeling stressed, troubled and burdened.
* Go for a walk on a windy day. Let the wind take away all that stagnant energy.
* Listen to music.
* Write poetry.
* Write out your ideal day, month, home, job, etc.
* Carry out an often thought of idea and see it to it's end..
* Recite poetry/monologues or sing songs.
* Write out issues that are bothering you on a balloon. Go outside and let it go up in the sky.

Wear symbols of air in your hair and on your body: Musical notes, feathers, birds, butterflies, unicorns, dragons, clouds, balloons, bubbles, faeries etc

Stay light like Air, Aquarians. It is the best way to be.

Winter arrives..

Tonight, Jake and I were getting off the bus. The snow was gently falling and he was entranced. I told him to look up at the lamp post. The yellow light illuminated the snow flakes. They looked like magical sparkles. The delight on his face made my day.

The magic lies in the every day moments. Today being The Winter Solstice heralding Winter's arrival and a new moon in Capricorn make it extra special today.

Spend time today savoring the turn of seasons. Know now the sun will spend each day with us a little longer. There is a quiet beauty of Winter that waits for each of us to embrace.

Moon Friday

Happy Friday and new moon in Cancer, my friends.

To celebrate the new moon:

* Get your feels on. Be as weepy, dramatic, romantic and moody as you want to be. Feel your feelings. Revel in them today.

* Take a trip to the sea this weekend.

* Take a relaxing bath with roses or your favorite flower thrown in. Don't forget the half of cup of Epsom salt.

* Dance and shimmy to music. Get your expression on thru your body.

* Start a long desired project that has been in your head. Yes, that one that flashed in your head just now.

* Indulge in delicious fruit or Chocolate.

New Moon

Happy Tuesday, my friends. It is one of that extra special sparkly days that shine on that calendar. It is a New Moon in Taurus and also a solar eclipse. That is sizzling energy out there today.

Here is a sweet ritual to do today. Get yourself a green candle. If you can't find a green candle, how about a chocolate brown or a sun yellow candle. Now decorate it with glitter or lay a flower near it. (Please don't let it get burned!) Say a prayer or favorite affirmations. Then light the candle. Sit and look at your lovely candle. I like to imagine when I light my candles, that the energy of it is shooting out into the Universe. Glowing like a bright beacon to attract the energy behind whatever the prayer, wish or affirmation is. Know that whatever you called for, will come to you in Divine Timing.

New Moon, So Soon....

Happy New Moon, my friends. Wait...I know I said that in the beginning of the month. It's our second new moon in a month which is very special indeed. It is the New Moon in Aries.

Though this little Ram is adorable. Aries energy is not laid back at all. Aries is like a hot firecracker ready to blast off and illuminate the sky. This new moon is infused with the extra boost Spring energy.

Do you need a kick in the pants to get something done? Or perhaps to feel alive again after a long and snowy winter? Or just want to feel more enthusiastic about life?This is what you do. Make a playlist of your favorite high energy songs. Songs that make you dance. Put them on and dance, as the famous quote says, like no one is watching. Do this for 30 minutes or more. Make sure you have a glass of water or smoothie to drink after you are done. When you finally finish dancing, you will feel clear and energized. Make a list, plans, vision board or action steps that you need for yourself. Then commit this week to at least doing two of them. Before you know it you will be getting things done and feel like this happy Aries Ram.

Happy Saturday, my friends. I'm happy March is here. February was an challenging month for me. Dealing with a lot of old memories and people who have left this world. I dream of spring now even as I walk on icy roads.

Make a wish on this New Moon. Promise to make room daily for what and who fills up your heart. Dive again back into your dreams. Allow yourself to be happy. Most importantly, always stay true to yourself no matter what.

Sparkly New Moon

Happy Thursday, my dreamy friends.

I had a great birthday last Friday. Thank you all for the birthday wishes.

Today is the New Moon in Aquarius. It is also the second new moon in one month. All that sparkly, zany and fun Aquarius energy is swirling and flitting in the air. What to do on a New Moon, you may ask?

If you are a regular reader, you have an idea of what I'm going to say. If you are new to Swan of Dreamers, here are some ideas to spark you.

* Write a New Moon check. Take a blank check and write in what you like to attract/manifest this month. Here is more info here.
* Take stock of what January has brought you, then plan what adventures you like to have in February.
* Make Valentine's Day plans now. Whether you are single, married or dating. It is a day of love that transcends romantic love. There are all kinds of love that can be and should be celebrated.
* Aquarius is the sign of originality. Think on what makes you original and share that part of you with people. I've often found it's the things that are the most eccentric or unusual that people seem to cherish in me. Wave that freak flag high!
* If nothing appeals to you on these ideas, follow your intuition on what to do. Break some inner rules and have fun, my friends.

New Year's Moon

Happy New Year everyone! 2014 is officially here. Are you ready?

I know people go into a frenzy with resolutions or word for the year. You don't have to follow the crowd. Celebrate the first day of the New Year, the way you want to. That can be spending the day in your pajamas watching old movies. (That sounds heavenly by the way.) Having a day off from technology to read books, paint and write.

New Year's Day is not the only day of the year to make a fresh start. There are other times of the year that sparkle with extra energy.

Your birthday
The first day of Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn
New Moon and/or Full Moons
The first of any month
A favorite holiday of yours
Feast day of a favorite saint or divinity.

This New Year's Day does happen to be extra special. It is a New Moon. I read this is the first time a new moon fell on the first day of the year. The new moon is in Capricorn.



Capricorn energy is all about earth energy. This encompasses food, money, business and your physical body. So tonight and tomorrow, ponder on one of the subjects. Which ever calls you to most. Make a plan or just dream of where you want to go with any of these.
You can...
make plans to learn more recipes,
eat healthier food,
write a business plan,
switch careers,
open up a 401k,
balance your checking account better
learn a new physical activity
make time to relearn meditating.

So many options for you my friends. What am I going to do tonight?

Going to take a nice long bath, watch my beautiful green candle glow for the new moon and dream.
