Level 57

 It's my birthday! I love how people started writing their new birth year as an upgraded level in a video game.

 So here I am at 57! Wow. It is super cold today in the city but I am a hardy January baby. It didn't stop me from going out to eat.

I got a lot of lovely presents, phone calls and messages. I felt the love strongly today that my heart was bursting with love.

I am looking forward to my New Year. I know wonderful events and energy is coming my way.

The Birthday boys of September 25th

 

Every year, I celebrate the birthdays of my two all-time faves who share the same birthday day:

Mark Hamill and Christopher Reeve.

Mark is 74 today. He currently has two new films that came out: The Life of Chuck and The Long Walk.

Christopher Reeve would have been 73 today. He passed away in 2004 but there is a wonderful documentary about his life called Super/Man : The Christopher Reeve Story.

 I'm forever grateful for Mark and Christopher who made my childhood magical and the deep influence they had on me as an adult. Love you both!

Judy, Judy, Judy

 

Happy Birthday to the legendary Judy Garland. 

Judy was a Venus in Cancer.  That energy to me is displayed in the vulnerability she displayed in her acting and singing.

Judy loved a good Shepard's pie. It was one of her comfort foods.

This is one of my favorite songs from The Pirate: Love of my life. It is a wistful and beautiful song, once again showcasing that Venus in Cancer energy.

If you want to watch Judy in a role without singing, I suggest The Clock (1945) starring Judy and Robert Walker.  It is a beautiful romantic movie. It is set in NYC and directed by her second husband, the famed director, Vincente Minnelli.

 Martin was so young when he was killed at 39.  Today on his birthday, I like to look at pictures of Martin when he was happy and smiling.

Carrie

It's still strange for me that Carrie Fisher is gone. She was the youngest of the original cast of Star Wars. I figured she be around for a long time.

One of the things I never knew was that she sang. It makes sense since both her parents: Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher were singers. She had a wonderful voice. There are videos of her singing all over you tube.

One of the things that I loved about Carrie Fisher she always radiated wit and strength. Those qualities is what makes Leia grow from Princess to General effortlessly in the Star Wars Saga.

 

Her legacy lives on in her daughter Billie Lourd and her two children. We will always have Carrie in our films and books. She will always be My Princess and My General. You will never be forgotten Carrie. -`🕯´-

Happy Birthday, Mae West. Mae is one of my favorite actresses of all time and an endless source of inspiration for me.
