46th Anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back

My forever favorite film. The Empire Strikes Back captured my heart all those years ago in 1980 at 11 years old and it still does 46 years later.

The Birthday boys of September 25th

Every year, I celebrate the birthdays of my two all-time faves who share the same birthday day:

Mark Hamill and Christopher Reeve.

Mark is 74 today. He currently has two new films that came out: The Life of Chuck and The Long Walk.

Christopher Reeve would have been 73 today. He passed away in 2004 but there is a wonderful documentary about his life called Super/Man : The Christopher Reeve Story.

I'm forever grateful for Mark and Christopher who made my childhood magical and the deep influence they had on me as an adult. Love you both!

May the 4th Be With You

Today took a very exciting turn for me today. I did my May the 4th Be With You post for the day on my main page and in my stories. Here is the post on my stories. I had another idea for what to do today and wasn't too sure about the pictures. I put it up anyway.

I also @ Mark Hamill. Guess what? He saw it!!! And Mark hearted it too. I was vibrating in happiness for over ten minutes! I adore Mark Hamill and of course, Luke so. That was a wonderful gift for me today. And a reminder to honor your word to yourself even if you feel unsure.

Then I ended the evening with watching Tales of the Empire that dropped today. I enjoyed it especially Barriss Offee's story. I also have to mention I said goodbye to Omega and The Boys on The Bad Batch on Wednesday.  On June 4th, The Acolyte is coming out on Disney + which I'm looking forward to. So there is really a lot of great Star Wars content out. I feel there is something for everyone to enjoy.

I'll be back on May 25th for another special Star Wars post in honor of the 47th anniversary of A New Hope. Now, say it with me: The Force will be with you always.

Happy Birthday to Mark and Chris

Happy Birthday to my two favorites born on the same day of September 25th. Mark Hamill is 72 today; and Christopher Reeve would have been 71 today.

I know I have said this before but Mark and Christopher have been an integral part of my childhood and life over all.

Today, I watched The Machine with Mark co-starring with Bert Kreishner, as his father, it was endearingly funny. Mark is going to be part of the ensemble cast of the Netflix series is The Fall of the House of Usher which comes out on October 12th. Though Christopher passed away in 2004, he left a legacy of movies that you can watch in him. I recently watched Christopher in the Bostonians from 1984. Chris doing a southern accent was a hoot to watch!

Thank you Mark and Chris for everything.

May the 4th be with you

May the 4th be with you, my friends. It is Star Wars Day. Celebrating my love of Star
Wars in this video. 😊

Today, also Carrie Fisher got her Hollywood Walk of Fame! The ceremony had her daughter, Billie Lourd, and her space twin, Mark Hamill celebrating our beloved Space Princess and General today. Carrie was truly taken from us too soon.

September 25th Birthday Boys

Happy Birthday to all my two all time favorites: Mark Hamill and Christopher Reeve.

Mark is 71 one today. He is still super busy as an actor. I always love seeing him on screen and hearing his voice acting work; I enjoy following him on twitter where he's very active.

Christopher passed away in 2004 at the age of 52; He would have been 70 today. I recently got to see him The Bostonians which he was really good in. If you never seen The Bostonians, you should check it out.

Thank you Mark and Chris for making my childhood and my life extra special.
