This has been the true Star Wars Day for me. May 25th 1977 is when Star Wars was unleashed and changed me and many others forever.

46th Anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back

 My forever favorite film. The Empire Strikes Back captured my heart all those years ago in 1980 at 11 years old and it still does 46 years later.

 Happy Star Wars Day. Here is a picture of me holding up my Star Wars Luke Skywalker Medal Ceremony Mini Backpack from Loungefly. I purchased it last year and have been happily wearing it since then.

Carrie

It's still strange for me that Carrie Fisher is gone. She was the youngest of the original cast of Star Wars. I figured she be around for a long time.

One of the things I never knew was that she sang. It makes sense since both her parents: Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher were singers. She had a wonderful voice. There are videos of her singing all over you tube.

One of the things that I loved about Carrie Fisher she always radiated wit and strength. Those qualities is what makes Leia grow from Princess to General effortlessly in the Star Wars Saga.

 

Her legacy lives on in her daughter Billie Lourd and her two children. We will always have Carrie in our films and books. She will always be My Princess and My General. You will never be forgotten Carrie. -`🕯´-
