Merry Christmas Moon

Merry Christmas, my friends. And it's also a Full Moon. I can't remember the last time it was a Full Moon on Christmas. Today is very special.


I kind of wish it is snowy like this today. Alas, it is a sunny day here. Still, it's Christmas. It's also the full moon in Cancer. All my sun and moon sign Cancer babies, this is your moon. Cancer energy is all about family, love, warmth, feelings, friendships, and water.

Let's do something special today. I am big believer in wishes. Wishes to me are like first cousins to Prayers. Wishes are real and can come true. What makes a wish come true for me is my intent and how much love is radiating from my heart. It may sound corny, but for me is true.

When the evening comes, whether you are celebrating with family or enjoying a Christmas solo, find time for yourself. Look out the window. Hopefully you can see the moon. If not, know Lady Luna is up there regardless. Put your dominant hand over your heart. Feel that beautiful energy of love radiating from your heart and your soul. Close your eyes and think of something close to your heart you desire. Let go of any judgements or fears about the wish. Feel that wish coming true. Feel how it would feel in your body,your heart and soul when it comes true. Say your wish out loud to yourself. Imagine the energy of the wish flying out of you circling up to the Full Moon and beyond. Once you feel the energy is gone, open your eyes. Know now that your wish is picking up energy to manifest itself back to you. Be open to how the wish comes to you.

Last Full Moon in Autumn

Happy Wednesday. It is the last full moon in Autumn. Yes, winter is less than a month away..




It is the full moon in Gemini. All my sun and moon Gemini babies, this is your special Moon.

Gemini is an air sign. Gemini energy to me is witty, lively and full of fun. Imagine an elegant attractive host who always knows the right thing to say, do and be. That is all that good Gemini energy, right there.

You may be busy planning for Thanksgiving for all my fellow American friends. Still find time to let your ideas out. Write them down to keep for future reference. Reimagine the neglected parts of your life. Where can you bring more elegance or fun? Whatever part of your life that comes up is what you should focus on.

If you simply don't want to do anything special on these full moon energy nights, then do this. Look up at the sky and watch the Moon. Bask in the moonlight for a few minutes and think on a favorite memory. Take yourself to bed for a good night's rest.

Full Moon tonight...

It's the lovely Full Moon in Taurus tonight. Though I can't see her right now, I can feel her energy.



This Full Moon is special for all of my sun and moon Taurus babies out there. Taurus energy is all earthiness, sensuality and riches. The energy of the Moon is for all of us to enjoy.

With the doors opening between the worlds with Halloween a few days away, I feel this is a very special Moon. What kept coming to me is Faeries.



In Faerie lore, there are special times of the year when the Faeries can be seen, felt or even spoken to. Halloween is one of those times. Be sure to be on the lookout for the Autumnn Faeries. You may find yourself dancing with one at an Halloween party. Or walking under the moonlight tonight or tomorrow, you may find yourself walking unknowingly into Faerieland.

Tonight or tomorrow, celebrate this Full Moon. Take a long bath, let go of clutter, bake a delicious brownie or even dance to Faerie music. Whatever way you celebrate the full moon time, make it authentic to you.

Aquarius Moon

Happy Blue Moon Friday! Anytime there are two full Moons in a month, the second Full Moon is called a Blue Moon. Blue Moons aren't as rare as we are led to believe. They happen every 18 months.

This Full Moon is special to me. It is the Full Moon in Aquarius. Special and amazing events happen to me during this Full Moon. For all my Moon and sun sign Aquarius babies, this is our lucky Moon.



Then, as the broad moon rose on high,

The energy of the Full Moon is for everyone to use. A Blue Moon is extra luminous, dazzling and beautiful. Aquarian energy is about freedom. Personal Freedom. Freedom for all of Humanity.

Think where in your life you feel most free? Where you feel more alive and yourself? Whatever you do, think or to feel like that, bring it to parts of your life where you feel stilfed, bored or burdened.Do one small action towards your personal freedom.

Which could look like saying no, saying yes, more exercise, cooking great food, less internet, reading more, telling people off, setting your boundaries, loosening up around people, dropping unwanted activities.

Be Free to be you!

Also before I forget, this is a great time to make wishes. This time spend your wishes on yourself. Wish big and happy.

Happy July Full Moon Magic

Hello,my friends. Happy July. Happy Canada day to all my Canadian readers.This is a special month. We have two Full Moons in July. Today is the Full Moon in Capricorn and on the 31st it is the Full Moon in Aquarius. The second full moon is called the Blue Moon. July is a month full of beautiful energy that is accessible for all of us to use.



Tonight, as I said before, is the Full Moon in Capricorn. All my sun and moon Capricorn babies this is your special Moon. Of course, for all us the Full Moon is a time to connect within.

I made the realization yesterday that Capricorn is the sea goat. Capricorn carries earth and water energy; also the sign of watery Cancer ruling now. There is a lot of water and earth energy swirling in the air.

Depending on where you are think of what parts of your life needs more attention.

For Earth energy, here are some questions for you:
Are you getting enough exercise?
Do you feel financially secure?
Do you experiment with new food recipes?
Do you feel connected with your sensual side?

For water energy:
Are you to able to express how you feel clearly?
Are the closest relationships nourishing to your soul?
Do you give yourself time to dream new goals?
Do you have practices in place to help when you feel upset or overwhelmed?

These are a few questions to spark you under this Full Moon. As always, make sure to follow your own intuition on what feels right to do. Remember the energy of the Full Moon lasts for three days: day before, the day of, the day after.

The Flower Moon

Hello, my friends. Tonight is the full moon in the sign of Scorpio. All my Scorpio, moon and sun babies, this is your moon! This moon has lovely names but my favorite is the Flower Moon. It fits with the world around us exploding with flowers all around us. Freeing us from winter's long icy grip and finally feeling the lovely boundless spring energy. I have yellow daisies that I brought on Friday. They are cheery still as night has come. As the daisies and I wait for The Full Moon

I had no idea what to write to honor this Full Moon. Then I got this video from another blogger. It just seemed to fit.This song is from Camelot(1967) starring Richard Harris, Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero. I have never seen Camelot, as much as I love Musicals and Arthurian legends. Have to put it on the list of movies to watch. I had no idea that Vanessa Redgrave sang! wow.

Snow and Romance on a Full Moon...

Hi, my friends. I don't like to complain. We have another snow storm going on! I know with all this snow giving the earth fresh water will produce a beautiful spring.

Today would have been my full moon post. Today is the Full Moon in Virgo. The truth is my friend, it's been a really long, long week. The inspiration that usually flows is low today. Instead of beating my head against the wall, I decided to post something different.

For all my Virgo Moon and Sun babies this is your full Moon. Enjoy. Here is inspiration from last year for you.



Since I was feeling down, I decided to watch an old classic movies. Today, I watched an old favorite: I'll Be Seeing you (1944) starring Ginger Rogers and , one of my personal favorites, Joseph Cotten. It's a wartime romance set around Christmas time. What really makes the movie sing for me is that Mary (Ginger Rogers) and Zach (Joseph Cotten) both have a secret they are burdened with. As the fall in love, they begin to heal the burdens they both carry. Look out for a teenaged Shirley Temple as the niece of Mary (Ginger Rogers). The whole movie has a warm homey feeling that makes you feel anything or anyone can be healed.

It's a perfect movie to watch on a Snowy day. If where you are at is actually not snowing and feeling warm, you can still enjoy it too. I wish I had the trailer for you. I have something better, the whole movie itself via you tube. Enjoy, my friends. Happy Full Moon

New Moon

Happy Thursday, my friends. Yesterday was the second new moon in Aquarius. Then soon, it changed into Pisces. All my Pisces friends, your birthdays are coming up. Early Happy Birthday to all of you. It is also the Chinese Lunar New Year. Happy, Happy to those celebrating the year of the Goat.

From one of my favorite mystical books called Sun Magic by Dorothy Morrison. Here are her suggestions to celebrate the New Moon.

* Dress in shades of blue and green to welcome the sun.
* Burn blue and green candles.
* Have a magical movie fest with Lord of The Rings, Excalibur, The Mists of Avalon, Harry Potter.

I would add
* listen to Ocean nature sounds with or without music.
* Tap into your inner Mermaid or Merman. Spend time daily following your feelings and letting them flow.
* Watch movies which has water themes. Here are some of my favorites: The Pirate, The Pirate Movie, Mamma Mia. There are more, my mind is going blank, you get the idea.

Enjoy this New Moon energy. Look up at the sky on Saturday, the first sliver of the moon should be out.

Rock Star Moon

Happy Full Moon, my friends. It's that time once again when the cosmic energies glow brightest. For all my sun and moon sign Leos, this is your special Moon. Yes, so bask in La Luna's light. The Moon also shines down for the rest of us, as well.



Leo radiates with power, leadership and success. It also had a special quality that I love the best, Leo energy governs entertainment as well. All my fellow performers in whatever medium is your stage this a special moon for us to. Do you sing, act, paint, write, dance, craft? How about tonight writing down a wild big dream you like to accomplish with your career. It can be as a big or unrealistic as people tell you. See how I said how unrealistic as people tell you. Sometimes the dreams people tell you that can't manifest is the ones you do!!

Tonight, write down the big wild dream. If you can write it down in gold or yellow font or pen that is great. Sprinkle cinammon or nutmeg on it for luck. Then post that big wild dream somewhere you can see it to encourage you in the months ahead. Now, if big and wild is too much. How about this, let the Leo moonlight shine down on something you use for your creativity. For me it can be my Headshot, my acting union card or a monologue I use for auditions. If you write, a pen. If you paint, your paintbrush. If you sing, a favorite song written out you love to sing. If you dance, your dance shoe. You get the idea. Let all the Leo Rock star energy pour down on your object. Whenever you use your object it will still vibrate with that delicious energy. Reminding you of how creative you are;also, you have been called to be creative for a reason.

Full Moon Time

Tonight is a full moon in Aries, a lunar Eclipse and Mercury Retrograde in full swing. My moon sign is Aries. So all my fellow sun and moon Aries babies, this is our moon.

The effects of that ram powerful fiery Aries energy has really
shaken up my life. It has been for the better, still it is taking me time to adjust.

The energy of the full moon lasts for three days. Take this adventurous Aries action orientated moon and make plans. It can be plans to leave your job,travel around the world, declutter your home, etc. Be as detailed or loose with your plans as you wish then wait. Yes,I said wait. Aries energy has strong bursts of energy but doesn't have staying power. The next new moon is on the 23rd. Implement your plans then.

I know from experience acting on Aries energy can lead you into trouble. I have many stories I can share as a kid when I went into situations half cocked. Stocked on by my fiery Aries moon energy, I do dumb stuff. If I just waited and listened closely to my intuition I would have saved myself some trouble.

Anyway,tonight and tomorrow you can plan to take over the world,just don't act on it yet.

Harvest Moon

Happy Full Moon, my friends.


Even before I started following the lunar path in my 20's, I heard about the Harvest Moon. It's special I feel since the Harvest Moon always comes close to the Autumn Equinox. It lies between the end of Summer and the arrival of Autumn. You can feel the mix of the energies in the air. I like to imagine Summer and Autumn , like old friends, having a few days to spend together before they must part again till next year.

In my household, the easy going Summer energy has transformed to the creative energy of Autumn. My husband, Sean, is back in school and hopefully, Jacob, will be starting preschool soon. A school we were on a waiting list may have a space for him. Yay.

The yellows are mellowing out to Brown. The green going fiery to orange. Change is swirling in the air. Can you feel it? Are you open to the changes within you? I always like to make changes before a change is forced upon me. It makes my life easier.

The Harvest Moon rises with the dreamy and mystical Pisces energy. For all my sun and moon Pisces babies, this is your moon. Ponder your heart my friends. What or Whom do you truly love? What makes your heart pitter patter? Do you spend time daily on things that give you joy? Joy is a beautiful feeling. When you are joyful, the whole world appears brighter and happier. Your life flows easier. You have three days of the Harvest Moon energy. The day before, the night of and the day after the Full Moon to play and surf in this energy. Make some fun changes in your life. Schedule joy daily for yourself. You deserve it. Everyone has the right to feel happy and joyful.

Happy Full Moon, my friends. The full moon in June has many sweet names to reflect the this flowering time of year. My favorite names are the Strawberry Moon and The Honey Moon.




This full moon rises in the sign of Sagittarius. All my sun and moon Sag babies, this is your lucky moon.

May Full Moon

Blessings to all my fellow dreamers on this Full Moon. It is the watery and deep feeling Scorpio energy that is riding in the air. Paired with the flowering abundance of Spring all around us it a Full Moon packed with creative energy.

All my Scorpio sun and moon sign babies this is your extra special moon.

This came to me last night so clear. I am sharing it with all of you. It is a simple visualization for this Full Moon.

Mirrors are linked to the element of water. Visualize a mirror in front of you.



You can sit or stand. Allow yourself to relax. Let your heart speak for you. What feelings have you buried in the deepest region of your heart? Feel your feelings. When you feel connected to your heart. Look into the mirror. The Mirror is going to reflect those deepest feelings within you. What do you see? Take note of all that is seen in the mirror. Know that it is safe to see this. When you have seen enough, the mirror will simply fade away.

You can act on your feelings or not. What is important to acknowledge your heart's longing. If you do the visualization, let me know how it turned out. For me, it was comforting and healing. Burying your feelings is never good for your spirit in the long run.

Happy Saturday, my friends. I'm happy March is here. February was an challenging month for me. Dealing with a lot of old memories and people who have left this world. I dream of spring now even as I walk on icy roads.

Happy Valentine's Day, my fellow Dreamers. It is a special Valentine's Day this year. It falls on Friday which is always a day of love and on the Full Moon. Wow, that equals beautiful love energy swirling and sparkling in the air.


Valentine's Day is a day of love. Yes, Romantic..you makemefeelspecialkind of love. I also feel it's a day of love in all forms. Love between friends, family, parents, children, animals. Celebrate all the love you have in your life.

Tonight is the Full Moon is dazzling and star shining Leo. Leo energy is passionate, fiery and show stopping. All my Leo sun and moon babies, this is your own special Valentine's Day Moon. The Full Moon energy can be used by all of us. Since the energy of The Full Moon stays around for three days: the day before, the day of the Full Moon and the day after, you have three days to swim in all love energy revved up.

Here is a simple way to honor yourself and all that you love on this Full Moon.

Get a candle. Pink or red for the Valentine's Day energy or Yellow/Gold for the Leo Full Moon. Get a favorite flower, piece of candy or fruit you like. Before you light the candle, smell the flower, eat a piece of candy or the fruit. Savor the smell or taste of this favorite object. Then with all that sweet energy you feel from doing this, light your candle. Say a thank you to the Divine for all the people you love in your life. Harvest Moon

Happy Full moon, my friends.

The last couple of early evenings, Jacob and I have been out from
playing and doing errands. Making it back home before the sky turns
starry.

Each night, I could see the Moon grow larger and brighter. Until
last night, it glowed. When I let Jacob run in front of me, he loves
to run, it illuminated his path as his little legs sped out.

Tonight is the Harvest Moon in the sign of Pisces.


All my dreamy and deep feeling Pisces babies, this is your moon.
For the rest of us, Pisces energy is a time to dig into those
hidden place inside. Like the darkest reaches of the ocean
that sunlight never reaches.

There is a beauty in the dark; A wisdom that
lies within that wants to come out. Open your heart,
allow it to swim out of you.

Now, my friends the sun is setting in the west. The
bright moon will be up. I feel the calling to sit outside
and bask in the moonlight.

Mercury Retrograde

Happy Friday, my friends.

I find it interesting with all the recent court
rulings, the filibuster in Texas and Paula Deen
that communication in many forms has been dominating the news.
What makes all of this more fascinating is that in astrological terms we are
in Mercury Retrograde. If your wondering what the heck that is,
let me explain.

The planet Mercury is named after the old Greek god Mercury.
Mercury's domain include communication, travel and business. Communication
encompasses also things that help you communicate: computers, cell,
tablets, mail etc. Thrice in a year the planet appears
to go backwards. When this happens..well things can go haywire.

My boss at my old job and I use to take note when it came around. Sure
enough, when Mercury retrograde came in: I find glitches all around.
Delays in the subway, printer not working, shows running late with cast members
not coming on time, tempers being short. I can go on and on. I think
you get the point.

The dates left for Mercury Retrograde in 2013 are from June 26th - July 20th
and October 21 - Nov 10. Also be aware the two weeks before and after
can get wonky as well. Now, you may or not believe me. I ask that you keep an open mind.
Observe and see.

The best way to flow through Mercury Retrograde that has worked for me is:

* Give yourself extra time with travel plans.
* Be mindful of your words. What you say and think.
* Back up your computers or any electronic device that you use.
(My laptop died a week ago. I recently got another one.)
* Decide to take a relaxed approach to any unexpected surprises that
come up.
* Take to time to make plans instead of acting on them.
* Double check any invites or outings you are going on for the correct
time, day, etc.

Though it's chilly here in The Bronx, The
Full Moon is full of fire and passion.

has many names but the one I like the best is
the Wolf Moon. This Moon is all about success,
leadership and strength. Also Leo energy is connected to

for me.

to them when you need a boost of energy.

These are just a few suggestions. Whatever
you do under a Full Moon, make it fun and
authentic to you.

For me, an Aquarius Full Moon always ushers in a new insight
into my life. Some Aquarius moons are full of adventure and
others can be troublesome. Tonight, The Aquarius Moon invites
healing and a deeper well knowledge to the my way of life.

For all of us, Aquarius Moon is all about blue sky thinking.
Thinking and doing big. Freedom to find new ways to live.
