Thursday Fun.

It has been a busy week. For some reason
this summer, i feel like I'm doing so much.
I always have time for Swan of Dreamers and
all of you.

This goes out to all the Jane Austen fans.

Thunder Moon

Happy Full Moon. As all the moons, this moon has many
names. In honor of all the rain, lightening and thunder
we have been having in New York. Calling this moon the
Thunder Moon is appropiate to me.

This is a special full moon for me because it's under
my sign of Aquarius. All who have Aquarius in their
sun or moon sign, this is your moon.

Whenever the Aquarius Moon comes up for, changes always
come about. This week I had a nasty encouter with someone
I work with via e-mail. I was hurt and angry. I could
hear Vader's Theme in my head. What it reminded me is
when people say mean things to you without provacation,
I'm being shown there shadow self. We all have our shadow
side, knowing when and how to use it appropiately is something
we have to learn. I call on my Shadow side when I need
extra energy to deal with harsher things in my life. I do
so carefully.

When people lash out, you always have a choice
whether you will continue to deal with them or not. I have
decided once my commitment is done with this person, I am
choose not to work with them again. Please remember, No one
has the right to treat you bad or mean! I don't care who
they are!!! You always should be treated with respect.


For everyone else, you can use the Aquarius Moon to shake
things up. Think outside the box today and Monday. Do
the unexpected from your normal routine. Be rebellious
and zany. Live it up. Be free.

The energy of the Full Moon sticks around for another
day. Have a beautiful Sunday and Full Moon.

Summertime

Summertime (1955) directed by David Lean
is one of my favorite movies and of Katharine Hepburn.
David Lean also directed ,another fave of mine,
Brief Encounter.

Katharine plays Jane Hudson who travels
to Venice for the first time. A trip she has been
saving for years. Jane is looking for something.
Could it be love or adventure?

I won't spoil it by saying what she is looking
for or what she finds. On her trip to Venice
she meets Renato de Rossi played by the
most swoonworthy Rossano Brazzi.

Besides, the relaxed sexiness of Rossano. What I love
most about Summertime, is the beautiful vulnerability
and pathos Katharine exudes in this movie. To me
this is one of her finest parts.

If you have never seen, Summertime. Now is the time
to see it. Also, be on the lookout for a young
Darren McGavin. Who years later starred in one
of my favorite shows: The Night Stalker.

PS. I have never been to Venice. Every time I see
this movie, I'm reminded that I must go someday.

Happy Thursday. I'm currently painting
mirrors and desks in a pretty white. I love
having white accents in the home, makes a place
more romantic.

While I'm busy, I decided I share another

Sunshine Monday

Happy Monday.

I had a fab weekend full of sunshine, sky
and ocean.

I'm exhausted in a good way. I'm way behind
on my blog readings. So you will see me later

Thursday sky

It has been hot and steamy in NYC.
Reaching triple digits. Oh, my.

Last night, Anakin, Mabel and I just
laid around drinking water, not moving
much and trying to stay cool as possible.

Today, it's a mix of sun and clouds. In
the upper 80's. I can actually have the
shades up to watch the sky. I can breathe
and think.

For all my classic romance fans out there
Tomorrow on TCM, they are showing
Till We Meet Again and Love Affair. These
are two movies have talked about before.
They are a must see. So DVD-R alert.

With my own acting, I am still committed
as ever. Just finished a set of postcards to
send out to agents/casting directors.
About two weeks ago, I got selected
with about 30 other actors to meet up
with a VP of Casting at CBS here in
New York. Walking into the actual CBS building
was a real thrill. She told us insider
tips on casting shows and went through
our headshots. She was honest and real.
Brownie points for me, she loved my headshot
which made me feel good.

Things are chugging along with my acting.
Focused and consistent action is the name
of the game in whatever dream or business
you are in.

Wishing you all a beautiful Thursday. If
you haven't been working on your dreams lately,
dust them off and get cracking on them!

Remember your dreams are waiting for you
to help make them real.

Celebrate your Independence

Is there a mental thoughts that keep you

Also, if you wear your hair natural like I
do; or may be thinking about doing so. Today is
also National Afro Day.

So wear your natural hair proudly!! Don't be ashamed of

Happy July

Happy July. Life has been hectic for me
these past weeks! I plan on slowing down
and savoring this Summer of 2010.
