Happy Saturday, my friends. It is the last day of June. I hope you
had a wonderful month full of beauty, fun and all good things you desire.
Here is something beautiful to listen to for all my fellow romantics
out there. Enjoy.
Happy Wednesday, my friends. Today for me is
Somewhere in Time day. This is the day that in the
movie, Somewhere in Time, Richard Collier(Christopher
Reeve) goes back in time to meet his true love,
Elise McKenna (Jane Seymour).
If you are a long time reader, then you know how much
I adore this movie. If you have never seen this movie and
you are a romantic, then please watch it. You can rent it on
You Tube now for 2.99. The story is simple
Richard Collier (Christopher Reeve) finds a picture
of an actress, Elise McKenna (Jane Seymour) in a
grand hotel. He falls in love with the picture
and becomes obsessed with finding a way to go
back in time to be with her. There are all these great
connections on how Richard and Elise are connected. It
definitely contributed to my 11 year old self's idea
of True Love. And still does now!
You can go here and here on more info on my
thoughts on Somewhere in Time. Of course, here
is a beautiful clip for you. I will share with
you a fun fact. When they filmed this scene,
Christopher Reeve hadn't seen the picture. His
reaction in this clip is truly genuine. Enjoy.
Happy Monday, my friends. School is finally winding down here in NYC. Jake has one more day left. Yes. I had a busy day today. I still had to take time to honor my old friend, George Michael.
I wish I had been able to meet him in person. I did get to see him twice in concert! His music meant a lot to me over the years. George healed my heart, made me dance and feel free with many of his music. There are so many songs I loved by George. I have accepted his death. Still, it stings that he is gone. Then again, no one
is truly gone. His music is here. I am sharing two songs with all of you. One from the major success of the Faith album and the latter one of his last songs that he released while he was alive. The second song is poignant. It is a beautiful song. Enjoy.
Happy Summer Solstice, my friends. It is the first
day of Summer. I got this nifty sun pinata from
Party City for $1.49. Now that's a great bargain.
I did up my altar all in colors of the Sun. Citrine,
orange calacite, sunstone with an orange and bits of
chamomile. Of course, this bright yellow candle. Yes,
I light my candles in the daytime too.😊 I cleaned
up my space with lemongrass oil. Love, love lemongrass.
Do you have any Summer dreams or goals? I am still doing
rewrites on my fantasy screenplay that I'm cowriting. I
plan on uping my fitness goals. I am down to a 10/12. Get
to a 8/10 by September. Those are two main summer goals
along with planning a fun summer for Jacob. What are your
Summer dreams? Please share in the comments, I love to read
it. Yes, I do adore comments.
Wishing you all a wonderful Summer Solstice.🌞☀️
Happy Friday, my friends. Friday is a day made for
love and romance. Here's a bit of romance for you.
Here a sweet White Rose from my mom's front yard.
This dreamy pink dress that I have on my pinkfully yours
board on Pinterest.
One of my favorite pinky brown lippies. This
is Elf highshine liquid lip gloss in Bitten Pink.
Perfect for a romantic day or wanting to look beautiful
for yourself. It is only $4.00
One of my favorite commercials ever. It is so romantic with
the lovely Jane Seymour.
Happy Monday. A great way to kick off the day
is to focus on what or who do you love. Take five
minutes to do this.
Here are a few examples to spark you:
❤️ People you love.
❤️ Books you love.
❤️ Music you love.
❤️ Film and television you love.
❤️ Cherished memories.
This will bring up your energy. The more vibrant and
alive you feel the more in tune you are to manifest
what you desire. Honestly, it just feels good.
One of my cherished memories as a girl, is riding my
bike on my local bicycle path. Feeling free and enjoying
my own company. Even now writing this makes my heart feel
warm.
Wishing you all a wonderful and love filled
Monday.
Happy June, my friends. June is named after the Roman Goddess named Juno.
She is the Goddess of love, marriage, fertility and children. June is known
as one of the most popular months to get married. Yes, that is not a coincidence.
On a side note, the full moon in June is also called the Honey moon. The Honey moon
is going to be on June 28th.
If you are happy in romantic love, then do things to strengthen the love you have
attracted in your life. If you romantic love hasn't come your way, keep that hope
alive. That means that Mr. Wonderful or Ms. Wonderful is right around the corner.
I truly believe Love is a frequency we have to attune to. The more you truly love
yourself, you attract people who will truly love you back.
When I was feeling a yearning for love, I play this song. It always made me wistful
and hopeful too. I have found A Dream is truly a wish your heart makes. Guess what?
Dreams do come true.
