Happy Thanksgiving

For all my USA friends, I'm wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving. I am grateful for many things. I like to count my blessings daily. By focusing on what I have, I attract more good things, people and experiences my way. I am grateful for all of you, my fellow dreamers, who come by to visit leaving your comments and love here. Also, those who come without comment. I feel your happy energy when I come on my blog, too.

I have a top ten list of people I'm most grateful for which include dear friends, my mom, my husband, Sean and especially my Jacob. Have a beautiful Holiday weekend.

Full Moon Kiss

It's time to do our revel with the full moon. For the last few nights, I have been feeling the energy of the moon waxing. Glowing right outside my window. Almost as if waving to me in moonish delight. Last night, was foggy. So I may not be able to see la Luna, I know she is there. Tonight's Full Moon is in the earthy sign of Taurus. All my sun and moon sign Taurus babies this is your special moon!!

For the rest of us, we can still surf in her majestic energy. Taurus energy is grounded, fertile, lush and strong. If you have been feeling scattered, unable to get things done, the energy of this moon can give you a pick me up. As always, there are many ways to celebrate the Full Moon. For me, you can wear greens, yellows and browns in all their hues. This mean also to eat foods , burn candles, soak in bath gels in these colors.

As all full moons do, they have numerous names for them. One of the best names for us here in USA is calling this moon the Thanksgiving Full Moon since the holiday is next Thursday. The energy of the Full Moon lasts three days, spend time to write down a list in your journal or place it on your altar of all the things, people, events that you are grateful for. Being thankful makes you feel better and brings more wonderful experiences your way.

Always, follow your intuition on how you like to celebrate the Full Moon.You know best how to feed your soul. I'm wishing you all a beautiful and glorious full moon.

A Lost Song Found

Happy Friday, my friends.



I am tired today. I had a busy week with the show on Wednesday. Which went amazing, by the way. It was great to be actually in a really nice theater for a change. The next stop for Urban Aura is May in Chicago. We have a lot of time before then to get things settled. Then, at home we have Jake enrolled in speech and play therapy on the recommendation of one of our doctors. The teachers come here, so it's busy in my home. Jacob likes all of them, thank goodness.

Then last night, I found The song. For over 30 + years, I have been haunted by a song. I first heard it in 7th grade. I remembered the melody and a lyric. I couldn't remember the song title and who sang it. Over the years, I put the lyric in google search and came up blank. Then last night, I hit it. I put in Here I am in a lost romance..which is all I could remember.

Bam. The song came up. I went to you tube to hear it. Voila. It is the song!! It's called On my honor by Donna Summer. So I have been playing it non stop. I like it because it a sweet song with an unexpected country twang to it. Something I know my 12 year old self would have loved immediately. I always been such a romantic.

It's Showtime!

Today was our last rehearsal. Tomorrow is showtime!
The one man show, Urban Aura, which I'm directing goes up this Wednesday at the United Solo Festival..
If you are in NYC tomorrow, come on down and see the show. Tickets are still available. I use to think no one gets as nervous as actors before
the performance. I'm here to tell you, directors do too.

I know everything will go wonderfully. And we made our kickstarter goal. It was 1,500 and we raised over 1,900. Amazing!!!

I know I'm a bit late with this post. Did you happen to notice the date? It's 11/12/13!! Now that's gotta be some kind of lucky vibe day
with that combination. Before you go to bed, my friends, make a nice wish for yourself. I'm going to do that once I get Jacob down to sleep.
Why, oh why, do little ones never want to go to sleep. Sigh.

New Moon and Lakshmi

Happy Sunday, my friends.

It's a busy spiritual Sunday. This is the new moon in Scorpio. Also a solar eclipse, and the Hindu festival of Light called Diwali. In the last couple of years, I've only become aware of this festival. You can click on the link to know more about it.



It honors one of the most lovely Hindu Goddesses, Lakshmi. She is a Goddess of wealth, beauty, grace and good fortune. I was taught her special day is Sunday and her colors are gold, pink, red and orange. With all these beautiful energies around today, lighting a candle, making a new moon wish or saying a prayer to whatever your faith is would be a wonderful act to do today for your spirit.
