Quiet Moon

Happy Saturday.

Thank you all for your beautiful, heartfelt
birthday wishes for me. I am deeply touched
by all your comments. My birthday sparkled
this year, I know a lot has to do with all
of you.

me at in a delightful way. Thank you.

Tonight is our first moon for 2010.
The Full Moon in Leo. All my Leos out
there this is your moon. This moon has
numerous names. I like the name the
Quiet Moon. For the rest of us, you
can use the energy of this fiery
moon to give movement, passion
and creativity to your goals for
the year.

If you fallen off the wagon of your
goals, tonight and tomorrow night
is the perfect time to get back on
track.

I'm wishing you a beautiful and
creative Full Moon.

My Birthday

Not that long ago in a galaxy right here,
during a great winter snowstorm a
girl was born....

She grew up believing she could do
anything she put her mind to.
Because her mom taught her that; also, The Force is strong with her..

When she reached adulthood,
she began to see how the world
could chip away at your beliefs
and dreams. She made a vow
to always stay true to herself
no matter what.

In sunny weather and rainstorms,
she stayed true. The cost as times
were high. In the end, it was worth it.

So today, I celebrate my birthday. I celebrate
the little girl I was and the woman I am now.
I am grateful for the adventures I've had.
I welcome all the adventures to come.

Of course, The Force is still strong with me...

I'm taking time away to celebrate my birthday,
I'll be back by Thursday.

I have finally joined twitter. I resisted for so long.
I really did to for my creative businesses and

sounds pretentious. Because some other Michelle
Swan took the name! Also, when I finally launch
my acting website out of weebly it will go under
The Michelle Swan. Why?
Because Michelle Swan.com is already taken by
a singer songwriter with the same name.

Seriously, people see if your name is taken if you
want to launch a website. You may think oh,
my name is special. No one could have my
name. You would be surprised.


Now, that I have rambled on about my name.
I promise I will tweet interesting stuff not like
hey, I just had a bacon sandwich and cutting
my toe nails.

I'll be back on my birthday which is the
24th for a fun birthday post. If you want
to give me a present. The following will
be wonderful:

I'm feeling in a mellow mood. The sun is out
and the clouds are sailing by. I'm letting go
of my worries for today.  This is one of my

New Moon in Capricorn

Happy Friday. This is the first new moon of
2010. This moon is in Capricorn.

For all the Capricorns out there, this is
your new moon. For the rest of us we
can still use the energy of this earthy
moon for our benefit.

Spend the weekend;

* Rework your resume, website, blog.

* Clean out your pantry and restock
with healthy and life affirming foods.

* Go through your resolutions and goals
for 2010. Weed out any which aren't
aligned with who you are right now.

* Make a schedule to have weekly or monthly
goals to get you closer to your dreams.

* Throw out any old makeup, ratty underwear,
pajamas. 


Now, go and enjoy this New Moon.
Remember to be grateful for all the
good in your life. What has happened
to our sisters and brothers in Haiti, is a
tragic reminder how our lives can change
in an instant.

A year...

Today, a year ago my Sean left

this world. It changed my life forever.

We have been friends since we were teenagers.

We shared a deep bond of love

and friendship.

He is buried in his hometown in Canada.

One day I will make the trip to his grave.

Today, I brought a red heart balloon.

I went to my local river. I said a prayer

and said private words to Sean. Then

I let the balloon go. I watched till

it sailed high into the blue and winked

out of sight

I love you forever, Sean.

The Goldmine in your mind

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fab weekend.

Last night, after a wonderful dinner. Thank you, Anakin!
I was writing in my notebook that I have set aside for
my goals for 2010 and my ideas.

A tumble of ideas were coming out of me. Some
of them even surprising to me. I wrote them down.
I plan on working on three of my ideas today.

We are all full of ideas. Most of the time we swat
our ideas away as being: impractical, unrealistic,
too hard, no one one will like it, etc. The list
goes on and on.

Here is another way to look at your ideas.
Look at them as a goldmine! Your ideas
can bring you peace, fun, creativity,
financial stability, freedom, etc. Your
ideas can bring all of this and more.
Everything we see watch, wear, use, buy,
eat started as an idea in a person's head.

Treasure your ideas. Follow your ideas.
Make a plan this week to take an idea of
yours and make in real. See what happens.

If one idea, doesn't work. Do another one.
An idea can change your life. Really it can.
I know.

Here are some of my Goldmine ideas:
 Put ads in Champion Studios and other
acting studios for my acting lessons.
 Expand acting lessons for non actors
to help with self-expression
Send out the rest of my acting postcards
to casting directors
Continue a working draft of my one
woman shows
Work on my online course

Some of my ideas are easy, some
may require more sweat. Never
know which idea will be the one
to put me to the next level for my
dreams.

Winter Cleaning

Happy Thursday. There is a frigid air blast on
it's way for the weekend. I'm a proud winter
baby even for me it's cold!! Today, I went
out and it felt warm to me. It reached a sunny
38 degrees here. It felt wonderful!

I know there is spring cleaning. Have you
ever thought about Winter Cleaning? As you
take down all your holiday decorations,why
not do some cleaning too.

Do it easy. Pick a half of a closet or part
of a junk room/storage to just clean out.

I have two caramel colored winter coats
and a pink autumn jacket that I have been
staring at for months. Knowing I don't wear
them, and it can go to someone else who can
enjoy them. I lugged them down to a local
clothing donation drop off box.

Now my closet sparkles with fresh energy.
I have now made room for a new beautiful
coat to come in. I haven't found it, yet
I know I will.

If you want something new, remember
you have to make room for it to be there.
That can be physical or mental room.


Stay warm everyone.
 

Breakthrough

 Last year, my word for the year was adventure.
I was taken on journeys in
ways I could never imagine.

Words have power. I decided to let the word
choose me this year. I had a whole bunch
of words that I liked: healing, beauty, creative,
courage, luminious.

The one word that kept pushing ahead
is Breakthrough.

Breakthrough is my word of 2010.
I can only imagine how this word
will manifest in my life. I am open
to see where this ride will take me.

Today, I take a small breakthrough
right here. Letting people know
two of my creative services I offer
now.

Of course, most of you know I'm
an actor. Since last year, I have
started teaching acting privately.
If anyone is looking for a private

Happy January
