The Road so far....

Happy Wednesday, my friends. Perhaps it's the stirrings
of Spring in my soul, I have been feeling restless.
I love blogging, yet I feel unsure at this moment.
What direction should Swan of Dreamers go next? Should
I even consider that perhaps my time at blogging has
reached a natural end? Or is that I need a bit of
inspiration? Or that I'm feeling the natural ebb and
flow of being a mom. Figuring out how to balance my
creativity with the demands of motherhood.

Has anyone else felt this way?

Well...I'm going to take time away from
blogging. Hopefully, I will be back soon. If not,
look for me on March 20th when Spring officially begins.

Wishing you all a beautiful Wednesday and beyond.

This is a gorgeous photo, Shell.
I would be sad to see you stop blogging, but I understand where you're coming from. My blog has become a part of my life, but then I'm an empty nester and don't have a little one to occupy my life. I've felt like stopping at times, but I'm glad I never did. Your blog has a very distinctive point of view and I love your sense of wonder and positive attitude.
Take a break, but I'll look forward to visiting when Spring begins!

Oh Shell, I will miss you! But if you need to take a break or stop, I support you no matter what. I can understand. With spring on its way, it is time to reflect and reassess. Hugs.

Hello beautiful Shell,
What a gorgeous blog you have, and I understand the crossroads of deciding to continue blogging, or take a break. I've found that heeding what I need in the moment, truly listening and following that guidance - gives me the soul food I need. Then, one day at a time, check-in. Giving myself permission to do that was liberating, and I did return, but eventually other parts of my life became more important. Realizing that enriched my experience of living. Some projects in our lives are temporary, some are permanent, but they all seem to be bridges to "what's next" for us. I wish for you freedom to trust your heart's urges and to explore them, and to have fun along the to discover what's trying to find its way to you! If it's meant for you to return to blogging (or anything else) you will know...and it'll be here, waiting for you. Godspeed my dear... Cheryl

Michelle, I do not Sense that this is the time to conclude your blog.

However, I do Sense that you, and so many others (including yours truly) are ready for less Planets to be in Pisces and for this massively challenging Mercury Retrograde to complete.

Nonetheless, follow your Divine Guidance, take a break and call upon the Muses to Divinely Inspire you.

LOVELY image with this heartfelt post, Shell. Interestingly I've been contemplating blogging too. I've been blogging for 7 years now, a good chunk of time. And I've rarely felt shortage of inspiration or sharing. But taking digital sabbaticals has helped me find balance. My life is taking some new creative directions this year that may mean being online less. I'm choosing to feel the freedom in this. So much has the possibility to expand our horizons. May you feel the freedom to move and grow as you need to. Some things do call to us for certain periods of time, and we have to gently let them go to make room for new things. Blogging can be like that. Trust your heart. Whatever you do, wherever you fly know that you are loved and we have loved you being here, that we support your choices! I've always found joy and inspiration here. Just now surfacing after 2 weeks+ I've been down with flu & migraines--slowly mending. Fist chance I've had to post and visit friends. So great to catch up with you. :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))

What a lovely post and writing! Girly we must shake off the old and put on the new. I know how you must feel. I have thought about closing my blog as well, but they won't let me. My friends and family. Take the break you need and for moment and catch your breathe you have baby and a man to take care of and sometimes it takes everything out of you to do just that. Bloggers will come and go and the ones that support you will be here when you get back and the others will be replaced by new friends. Know that you are supported and loved! We'll be here when you come back. LOVE YOU.
