Summer

The days and nights of summer are beginning to wind down.
You don't need a whole lot of money to enjoy summer.
Just the willingness to embrace joy and beauty
wherever you are.

Have you gone to the beach? Worn flip flops?
Taken a walk aimlessly for fun? Brought something
for yourself purely beautiful and makes you smile?
Sat to watch the sunrise or the sunset? Spent a day
doing your favorite activity?

We only get one summer a year. Enjoy it. Revel
in the freedom and sunshine.

Hi Shell.I personally am a fall, winter gal. Summer is just too hot for me. I'm behind the air conditioner most of the time. I Try to take care of all my business early morns so that the rest of the day is spent cooling off. I mean, don't get me wrong...I love every day of the year as long as I'm breathing.:) Have a great week and I have flip flops on right now.:) Take care.

Dear Shell,
You have such a wonderful attitude. I should be enjoying Summer (and usually do) but this year it has benn soooo hot. Ugh, makes me look forward to Fall and Winter. Now of course wait until it gets cold and I will no doubt be whining and wishing it were warmer!
Hugs))
P.S. Please don't worry about sending the book ~ your friendship is really all I need:)

I about ready to go back to work later on this month. Summer has been pretty hot here in Metro Detroit. Surprising, since most of the time we really don't have hot hot summers. I've spent most of my summer drawing and putting together my portfolio.

Hope your summer has been fantastic so far. Have a great evening, my dear.

Trying to hold on to the last days of summer here...hating to see it go. I don't like the heat, but I do like the rest of it...sand, walks by the ocean, crab legs, and just time to muddle about.

Summer surely is disappearing fast...it's already starting to feel like autumn in the morning air.

embrace change, right?
