More Simple things...

Today is all about appreciating the simple things in life. Please go over to Christina's place to celebrate with all the other bloggers on this beautiful day.

Here is my list:

Waking up to a day of sunshine and blue skies.

Wild daisies, buttercups and pansies growing around where I live.

Rereading Jane Eyre.

Listening to classical and swing music.

Having my toes painted with clear sparkly nail polish.

Unexpected calls and texts from dear friends.

Remembering happy times with my Sean.

Learning a new poem to perform one day.

What a nice list. I don't get over to comment often. I get your posts in my email and sometimes I'm too lazy to click on over, but I wanted to come by and drop off some love. :)

Hi Shell, I love your list, clear sparkly nail varnish - yes, (I'd kind of forgotten all about this but now may need to hunt for some!). Nothing nicer than waking up to sunshine and blue skies and yes Jane Eyre - a little while since I've re-read this, I may have to revisit!
Have a sunny happy day!

I would agree with most of the things on that list. Oh for a first edition of Jane Eyre. Such a quiet but strong lady beneath. I want a list of good swing songs to listen to for my player, please :)

agree with most of the things on your list... except pansies. it's a strange thing, but pansies have always been kind of eerie to me (i know, i'm weird)

Hi Shell--Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love your list. Sparkly clear polish? What fun.

I love that you are a dreamer and you are following your dreams. I majored in theatre (only "theatre majors" spell it that way!) in college and miss acting. I didn't follow that dream. So exciting that you did...are...do.
