Now,Voyager is one of my favorite films of all time. It is also stars another fave of mine, Bette Davis. She is at her brightest and best in Now,Voyager. If you never seen this film, you are in luck because it is being shown on Saturday, 8pm on Turner Classic Movies. If you have seen it, then it's like visiting an old friend. If you don't have cable at all, rent this film! You'll be glad you did.
Bette Davis plays Charlotte Vale. A woman under the thumb of her domineering mother who gets therapy, falls in love and finds her place in the world. It is a romantic and inspiring film. To me Charlotte represents that it's never too late to find happiness and strength in your life.
This is the last scene in the film. So this is my Mother's Day and Happy Friday gift to all of you, Now,Voyager. Have a wonderful weekend.
