Happy Birthday to one of my all time favorites: Mae West.
She has a picture of one of my favorites of her movies: I'm No Angel. She always dreamed as a girl to be a lion tamer. Mae gets her wish and plays Tira a lion tamer, who dreams of being with the swells! Her actual birth date is a plot detail in the movie. I adore a woman who loves her birthday.

She loved men!; and, Mae always made sure that she loved herself first and foremost.
Mae loved luxury especially furs.
And jewels. She felt jewelry was a wise investment for the future;I agree with Mae on that.
