A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....

Happy Friday, my friends. By the time, you read this I'll be at the movies meeting Rey, Finn, Poe and Kylo Ren from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The truth is I'm hoping this guy will show up:

He has to. Come on, its Lando!

The bigger lure is this guy for me.

Is he still Jedi or did he go dark side? I'm still betting on Luke being Jedi. My adoration for Luke Skywalker knows no bounds. If you have been reading my blog, you know of my not so secret love for Mark Hamill. I'm sure Mark does too since I'm sweetly stalk him on twitter. (He has favorited three of my tweets to him, so far.)

Of course, Leia ,now a General, Han, R2, Threepio, Chewie and The Millennium Falcon are all back too. Double yay! It's great to go back to an universe I grew up watching again.

Have a Force Filled Weekend, my friends.

Oh, my Goddess! Mark Hamill favorited THREE of your Tweets!

That is the 21st Century equivalent of Marcia Brady saying, "I'll never wash this face again!"

I must admit, I have been enjoying the tastefulness and the lack of excess with the advertising and cross-promotion. In spite of the fact that I rarely go to the cinema, let alone watch a motion picture, I AM fully aware that some studios go overboard with their advertisements of a soon-to-be-released feature, but not "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

And you know, Shell, you need to write a follow-up blog post on your experience watching this new addition to the saga. Add or refrain from adding spoiler alerts, as you please.

I got to meet the actor who played Lando last year at FanExpo and it was a highlight for me! How awesome Mark Hamill has favourited your tweets. :) I gather you're seeing the movie soon? I've been so busy I haven't been able to schedule in time to even buy tickets. Have fun!

Thank you Kamala
