New Moon, So Soon....

Happy New Moon, my friends. Wait...I know I said that in the beginning of the month. It's our second new moon in a month which is very special indeed. It is the New Moon in Aries.

Though this little Ram is adorable. Aries energy is not laid back at all. Aries is like a hot firecracker ready to blast off and illuminate the sky. This new moon is infused with the extra boost Spring energy.

Do you need a kick in the pants to get something done? Or perhaps to feel alive again after a long and snowy winter? Or just want to feel more enthusiastic about life?This is what you do. Make a playlist of your favorite high energy songs. Songs that make you dance. Put them on and dance, as the famous quote says, like no one is watching. Do this for 30 minutes or more. Make sure you have a glass of water or smoothie to drink after you are done. When you finally finish dancing, you will feel clear and energized. Make a list, plans, vision board or action steps that you need for yourself. Then commit this week to at least doing two of them. Before you know it you will be getting things done and feel like this happy Aries Ram.

Even Marilyn is excited. Had a long week? Well it's over. Had a great week? Good for you and make next week even better for yourself.

Friday Fun:
Throw out/donate all those outdated clothes.
Buy yourself a new shade of lipstick. (I recently got myself a MAC lipstick that I adore.)
Take a long hot bath.
Have as my mom would say a nice stiff drink.
Order take out or have someone else cook.
Burn a sweet pink or green candle.
Put your hand over your heart and say I love you as many times as you need.

Happy Spring, my friends. It is a blue sky with fluffy clouds day here in The Bronx. It's not exactly Spring weather, I know spring is officially here. Mother Nature is waking up.The world will soon be alive with color and warm weather.

I have a pink candle in a brown egg burning to honor the changing of the Seasons. I'm about to go out for some well needed mommy time. As my husband says, get my chakras aligned!

Our last Winter Full Moon...

Hello, my friends. I've been having laptop issues that have slowed down my posting. Finally, I'm able to blog again.

It is the Full Moon tonight. I always get a little excited when the Moon becomes full. I think even the most logical person feels a pang of romance and adventure looking up at a Full Moon. It is our last Full Moon of Winter. Spring is officially a few days away. And to top it off we end March with another new moon. That makes March a truly merry month full of magic and delight for all.Tonight, I have a lovely brown candle with a chocolate fragrance burning tonight. I chose chocolate to honor the Virgo energy which starts the Full Moon. All my Virgo sun and moon babies, you know this is your moon.

Brown for me symbolizes earth and riches. How many times have we seen in winter, the land appearing asleep. Then suddenly, you see tiny flowers begin to sprout from the rich brown earth as Spring gets underway. Winter is leaving and Spring will soon dance with us again. Time to reflect on all we learned this Winter and let go of what doesn't serve us anymore. What new and bright things you wish to grow this Spring? What cold dreams can thaw off now in the Spring sun for you?


I'm wishing you all a lovely and enriching Full Moon. If all you can do is glance out the window to look at Lady Moon, then do that. Acknowledging the rhythms of nature keeps us in harmony with our own souls.

New Moon Dreams

Happy Saturday, my friends. I'm happy March is here. February was an challenging month for me. Dealing with a lot of old memories and people who have left this world. I dream of spring now even as I walk on icy roads.


Tonight is the New Moon in Pisces.
Make a wish on this New Moon. Promise to make room daily for what and who fills up your heart. Dive again back into your dreams. Allow yourself to be happy. Most importantly, always stay true to yourself no matter what.
