Happy Monday and President's Day for us in the USA. To my surprise and delight, Mori Girl Style was one of heavily viewed posts. Here is another tribute to that lovely style that sprung up in Japan. Honestly, Mori Girl style has been around for a long time, I feel, under different names. Mori means Forest in Japan. It's a romantic style full of layers and dreaminess. Here is more about it from a previous blog post.
A dreamy white romantic skirt to wander in the woods or in the city.
Layers of pretty with a soft brown hat.
More lacey goodness with layers. Makes my heart smile.
Mori Girl style like anything can be tweaked to fit you. This lovely lady shows a bit of skin yet still looks dreamy.
A side table setting that evokes beauty.
You can really reflect the forest with having flowers in your hair.
Yep, you can wear sneakers. Make it your own with pretty touches.
If you feel this is a little too much pale colors for you, and want some edge. Well there is Dark Mori style. Just switch with more black and grey. Like this lovely lady:

I am in love with this style...The sneakers are just oh so cute too!!! I have always been attracted to the vintage Victorian style of dressing that is now more modernized to a Gypsy Victoriana style...so in love!
Hello Dear,
It's been quite a while since we've talked...so glad I found you again! And the first post I've read of yours features one of my FAV magazines, Mori Girl! Their style is whimsical at its best! GirlWhimsy is back to blogging after a 3 year hiatus, so please stop by & say "hi". Have a wonderful day, my dear!

What a beautifully Victorian style. So much lovely lace! The Japanese have a way with style for sure.
VERY, very pretty! I like the Mori style either way--dark or light. Those lacy high top sneaks are AMAZINGLY FUN--love those! Thanks for the finds, Shell. :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))
