Honey Moon

Happy Full Moon everyone. Tonight is one of the
most famous full moons. It is the Honey Moon.

June is named after the Roman Goddess of
Marriage: Juno. June is The month
for weddings. Hence the sweetness of marriage
gets all swirled up in the June Moon called
The Honey Moon.

Do you need more sweetness in your life?
Or perhaps, things are too sweet and you need
more spice. This Honey Moon is perfect for
both things. It's also a lunar eclipse as
well. You got an action pack of mystical energies
riding the air tonight.

For all you Sagittarius sun and moon babies,
this is your Full Moon. So live it up. For
the rest of us, I say follow your intuition
on what you like to do tonight. Make sure
it's sweet or spicy, your choice.

Here is a picture of my altar dressed
for the Full Moon. I have a yellow candle
representing sunshine and happiness. And
in a small glass heart is brown sugar.
To symbolize all that sweetness I have now
and the more to come. Also have my Tarot
and Goddess cards, faerie statue, stones,
seashells and other pretties that I love.

If you don't have an altar, tonight is good
time to begin building one. Or even make
plans to create one. The most important thing
about an altar is that resonates with you
and your own spiritual beliefs.

Wishing you all a wonderful Honey Moon.

Thanks for you kind comment. AND reminding to enjoy the moon tonight! I love how you talked about blogging being an extension of yourself. This is very much what I have been meditating on and I guess it also has brought me to a lot of thoughts on and personal identity and portrayal... A whole other post right there! :-)

Oh Shell! I love the idea of this alter. I have little bits of me scattered all over the house. Litte vignettes here and there but I think a little space like this, gathering up all my treasures would be wonderful. I hope my sag daughter is making the most of her moon tonight. Miss you and am happy to be here.
LOVE the new header-you are beautiful.

Happy Honey Moon, Shell! VERY fun to see your pretty altar. My altar is the top of a small bookcase in my studio and I change the candles, talismans, offerings & such frequently. Sometimes I do my yoga practice here with the altar for inspiration. Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
