Deliciously Rainy Day

The pleasures of a Rainy Day..

A day to get lost in a dusty book store...

Tackling a recipe you have been afraid to
try...

Finding a diary of a long gone relative
when they were your age in an forgotten box...

An unexpected all day movie marathon of
your favorite actor...

Taking a walk down a street where you've
gone a thousand times and see a sweet
old Victorian house appear out of nowhere..

Taking out a beloved book to reread again...

Anything can happen on a Rainy Day, you
just have to stay open.

I spent almost the entire day watching movies and reading. A nice change of pace. Lazy. But nice.

Sounds wonderful, I especially like the idea of reading the diary of a long lost relative. Sometimes we need a slow day of rain to feel recharged and new.

Love it, Shell! Making the most of a wonderful rainy day. A Victorian that suddenly appears where it never was before - I believe in that. Sometimes things don't manifest into our reality until we need them to. Maybe they're always been there; maybe not. Everything's possible!

This is such a mellow thought. I love rainy days. As a matter of fact, it is raining here in Southeastern Michigan today. I just happened to look out of the window while here at work and saw that the streets were glistening.

Even though I'm not at home, there is still something soothing about a rainy day.

Have a great afternoon, my dear.
