All This, and Heaven Too

It is my favorite day of the week.
I have to confess I was quite stumped
about what to write.

Then I came across this and well
I knew I had to share.

This is the trailer to
All This and Heaven Too (1940)
starring Bette Davis and Charles Boyer.
I do adore his accent.. and those
eyes. Quite dreamy to me.
Bette Davis is one of my personal
favorite actors.

Bette plays Henriette ,who in flasbacks,
tells her of her love for the handsome
and married Duc de Praslin when working
as his Governess. This is for my romantics
out there. Or if you love Bette and Charles.

I do love Boyer - and, of course, am a huge fan of Bette's. But this film doesn't do it for me. I think I have fallen asleep in it about six times LOL.

The trailer, however, is pretty exciting.

I LOVE the dramatic swells of music! So indicative of an old classic. How are you my Friend? I have missed you. Been sick and busy :(
