The movie "Summertime" was just on last night. Ahhh. . . what a beautiful film!! Made me swoon!
The ending is so tender - Rossano Brazzi running after Hepburn's train as it leaves Venice. . gift in hand. . . he can't catch it so he opens the gift and shows her it was a gardenia flower. She throws kisses to him, acknowledging in her every gesture how deeply it touched her heart. They wave and stare after each other until out of sight. . .forever. . . perhaps, not?
What a romantic film! I love your list!
