You Deserve The Best

On Thursday, I went to a wonderful metaphysical
class at the Alignment center in Manhattan
being taught by a new friend.
He is full of magic and wisdom. I adore him.

The class was on prosperity. He gave us all
great affirmations,prayers, etc. What struck
me at a deep level is about feeling
you deserve the best. If you feel like you
don't deserve the best, you will block yourself
from your own good.

Well, yesterday I was supposed to go out with
a friend. He has a bad habit of being late,
forgetting appointments and doublebooking his
time. Usually, I let it go because I love
him dearly.

This time, I got really angry.
I told him this crap has got to stop among
other things.It wasn't just him, I thought
about two or three other friends
in my life who don't call and continually
cancel hanging out with me

Enough is Enough! You know why?
Because I deserve the best in all areas of
my life. If I'm having people treat me like
this, it is dragging me down. Blocking all
wonderful good which is trying to come in.
We teach people how to treat us. I know
I deserve the best. I see with my friends
I have gotten lax with how I'm being treated.
That is all going to change.

Prosperity includes good people in your life who
honor who you are. So if things aren't flowing for you,
look around at your close circle. Really look at how
people treat you.

Because You Deserve The Best in all areas of you life!

THIS IS MY QUEST. I woke up in the past year and stopped allowing unhelthy people bring me down. You are so right we teach people how to treat us. For years I put up with people, who were less than kind ,treat me or my kids poorly. I took a stand and said no more. It caused a big family rift but we have a sense of peace now. Same for flakey friends. I had one friend who was always late or cancelled at last minute. Even worse she was a coward and would do it on vm. People that are always late are doing it on purpose. If it wasn't they would accidently show up on time once in a while. Those sorts are saying my time is more important than yours. I firmly believe that as soon as we move people out of our life that do not have our best interest in mind we make room universally for the right people to move into our life.
I am proud of you Shell-it takes courage to say enough is enough.
Love to you.

I am 58 years old & I started "weeding out" the negative people over a year ago. The people who treated me bad & thoughtlessly. Some were in my family... Oh well, I am no ones beating post!!
Now I feel better.... <:-)

Marilyn

This is an amazing post. And oh so timely. Those of us who God has deemed helpers usually have a hard time believing that we don't have to be doormats. We do deserve better in every facet of our lives, not because we're so great, but because we have a God who loves us and wants what is best for us because of that love.

Have a great rest of the weekend my dear.

Great entry!

Glad u stood up to that person... Hopefully he learned something?? I've had that happen and I know this maybe wrong, but I soon lose interest in them... Drop communication and I know I should confront and w/others I have and it seemed to do no good...
Shell, take care of yourself cuz no one else will.
