Today would have been Richard Chamberlain's 91st birthday. He passed just two days ago at 90 on the 29th. Richard Chamberlain was one of those leading men actors who I thought was truly handsome and captivating on screen.
There are so many great performances from The King of the Miniseries as he was called. I knew whatever role Richard played he would be amazing in it!
Off the top of my head my favorite works that he did: The Slipper and The Rose, The Three Musketeers, The Thorn Birds and Shogun. He has done so much in t.v., film and theater.
I'm happy that he was finally able to come out after decades of keeping his private life away from the public. He was able to see by his fans he was still so loved.
Thank you Richard for all the great work you leave behind for all of you to re-watch. You helped me as a little girl believe in the power of true love from several of your roles. Until we meet again.
