One of my favorite shows I love to watch is Sewing with Nancy on create tv. I saw an interview with this creative sistah ,who does beautiful quilts, named Lola Jenkins. I love watching sewing and quilting shows. I learned how to sew at Howard University for my minor in drama. I always said I was going to get a sewing machine and sew again. My auntie Lorrie, loved to crochet, so she taught me basic crochet stiches. I have a simple knowledge how to do both; I feel that is why I find these kind of textile arts shows relaxing to watch.
Lola's quilting is beautiful; They are alive, colorful and inspiring. This is the video I saw today with Lola and Nancy. It is about five minutes long, I hope you all enjoy it.
