I was on you tube the other day when I found this gem. June Richmond was a pretty plump jazz singer from Chicago. She was one of the first African American singers to sing with an all white band: Jimmy Dorsey's Orchestra. She passed away at the early age 47 of a heart attack. Turn up your speakers and come back with me to the 40's with June. Enjoy.
