Nina for Monday

Here is the beautiful and talented
Nina Mae McKinney to serenade you on
this Monday. Nina was an
actress and singer. She starred
in Hallelujah!(1930) one of the first
Black musicals made in Hollywood.
She is considered one of the first
Black beauties of Film. A title well
deserved.

I haven't any knowledge of Nina before watching the video. My earliest of black actresses is probably Dorothy Dandridge. Although, judging from the film, I can definitely see why she would be considered as the first beauty of film musical.
