Haiku Festival

I'm joining in on the magic, beauty and power of Haiku with the Haiku Festival hosted by Tracy and Elizabeth. Please go on and visit all my fellow Haiku lovers. Maybe you'll try some Haiku yourself. Just remember the simple 5-7-5 syllable rule.

I jump in Ocean
Dolphins ride the waves with me
We swim till sunset

I wait for Midnight
When I dive into dreams
He is there waiting

We race to sea’s edge
Watch and count the stars in sky
Hold hands till dawn

Moon hangs low in sky
Wind kisses my bare shoulders
I wish you were here

I Haiku. Hope you all enjoyed. Have a wonderful Monday.

As always, Sweet Dreams to you all.

I like the sexy images these invoke. I like the picture of Jimi you have on your side bar too.

Midnight, holding hand until dawn,
and kissing shoulders are beauties
out of the pretty bouquet you've
poemed Shell.

Thank you for so many beautiful poems, Shell! There is so much pleasure and joy in each haiku, each very emotive and taking us where love resides...and your images tie in so sweetly. Love all the imagery here--in work and art! So glad you joined us today, Shell. Many have been enjoying this event. It's been a great day! :o)

Shell, the one of meeting him in dreams is a serotonin booster. I'm more relaxed just reading it. Beautiful job.

I love to read Haiku, but sure don't understand that 5/7/5 rule. I'd rather read it anyway. Beautiful words. Thanks.

Hmm, okay here is my effort. Now, don't laugh. Okay, you can laugh a little. :)

Umm, might be a little morbid this early in the a.m., huh? LOL.
Sorry. But you know I write the paranormal, so I can be a tad twisted. :D
