Wordless Wednesday : Christmas Tree

Merry Christmas

Wherever you are, I hope Love fills your heart today and during this beautiful Christmas season.
Whether you celebrate Christmas, Yule, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa. This is time of celebrating Light returning
to the world. Winter is the season when the light returns back. Light to me is intertwined with Love.
For that feeling of light can be amplified when we are with people we love the most. I know
today when I was strolling around with Jake. I felt my heart filled with light to be with my
sweet son.



If you find yourself alone on this day, know you are never truly alone. Our loved ones who have passed
on are with us. That I know for sure. There is many a day when I feel my gram and other loved ones close
to me. Our guardian Angel, I believe we all have at least one, is with us always. Our Angel friend
who chimes in when we need guidance the most. Know that you are loved in this world and in the next.

I'm wishing you Love and Light. And of course, yummy hot cocoa and holiday cookies too.

It's a good thing

We are almost two days away from Christmas. Happy Yule to those are currently celebrating that holiday.
I was in the mood for something Christmassy. I don't have the Hallmark channel which I wish I had.
I went on you tube and behold: Martha Stewart to the rescue.
I loved her shows especially back in the day when she filmed at her home at Turkey Hill.

I never was one of those people who got stressed out watching her show. It was informative and
inspirational for me. She still is! So sit back and relax. Spend an hour with Martha way back in mid 90's.
It is a good thing.

Winter's Return

Happy Thursday and Happy Winter. Tonight is the longest night of the year, then day by day the sun will stay with us longer.

Our sweet Winter Faerie here doesn't feel the cold bite of Winter. She revels in the magic of ice, snow and whipping winds.


Whenever Winter comes, I know it is heralding my Birthday coming. I am true Winter childe. One of my favorite stories that mom tells me that I was born during a winter snowstorm. I feel an affinity with snow. Whenever I pull on my winter boots and go out in the cold snow, I feel a sense of happiness.

Like with any season, what are your Winter Dreams? Is there anything you like to accomplish, do or let go of in Winter. Today or tomorrow is a perfect day to make your list. I know Winter is seen as a time to go within. Don't hovel inside all the time. A winter walk in the quiet of the day is a beautiful thing to do. There are many Winter festivals that happen all over. Make time to get outside. Get your Vitamin D and savor the cool Winter air.

The Last Jedi

Luke Skywalker for me has been a life long friend to me. I have turned to him for inspiration and direction in my life time and time again.




It has been 40 years since I sat in a darkened movie theater and met Luke Skywalker.
I will be going to see my old friend again tomorrow. We are both older, past our fiery idealistic youth and perhaps have witnessed things we never thought we see.Luke may be weathered, the boy who blew up the death star and wants to do good is still there.

Happy Monday, my friends. We have 20 days left to 2017. Which coincidently is the close to the amount of days it is said to break a habit! As much as I love New Year's Eve, you don't have to wait for 2018
to make changes. Don't have to wait till January 1st to manifest amazing events, people, finances,
etc into your life. You can do it today.

Wordless Wednesday: Heaven in the Library

Welcome December

Hello my friends, I know it's that wonderful time of the year. The most important thing is to celebrate in the way that resonates with you.

We are in the darkest part of the year. Take time to celebrate the sunset daily. The sunsets in December appear particularly vibrant to me. I love to play this song by Loreena Mckennitt around this time of the year. There is a beautiful melancholy that fits these shorter days.




When the sun begins his return on the 21st which is the Winter Solstice, you can celebrate the Sun. Which echoes Christmas that celebrates another son.


December is full of darkness and light just like us.
So if instead of endless shopping or parties, you want to watch the sunset, listen to music, make your home more cozy then do it. This is your December.
