It's Friday, bliss out

Happy Friday, my friends. Friday is the only day of week named for a Goddess. It is named for The Norse Goddess of Beauty, Love, Prosperity and numerous other attributes.

It's a day for beauty, fun, love and all those good things that make us happy. Great colors to wear today are pink and green. I also add whatever color that makes you feel blissfully happy, wear that. Do what makes you feel beautiful. After a long week, you deserve to feel effortlessly Beautful.

It's Tuesday, time to do

Tuesday is the day of action. It is linked to the Warrior Gods:Tiw and Mars. I've talked about it here and here. Don that Red or whatever color makes you feel powerful. All those dreams you surfed in or ideas you woolgathered yesterday on Monday, now is the time to implement them. Take one idea or action. Then implement it. It can be big or small. Movement​ creates more movement.



Be like this succulent lady, dance your way into action. You can do it. One of the best ideas I found in doing and completing tasks comes from Leonie Dawson's Riding the Wild Donkey. As someone told me, you have no idea how your dreams made real can help inspire or heal others.

It's Monday, just chill

Monday is named after the Moon. When I learned that nifty fact many year ago, it made me appreciate Mondays a lot better. Mondays really should be about dreaming and relaxing. What if we dreamed on what we like the week to be first then do action later? Today just dream...

Happy Earth Day

Happy Earth Day, my friends. I'm not going to give a big speech on ways to help protect our mutual home. Most people know what to do.

I think one of the best ways to protect the Earth is to know the area you live in. Get to know the local flowers and plants that grow where you live. Notice the birds and local wildlife where you are. Love for the Earth starts with being connected to what is right outside your door. The more connected you are to anything, the more willing you are to protect it.

This week ,where I live in The Bronx, I have seen groundhogs, geese, squirrels, pigeons, wrens, robins, seagulls, dandelions, apple blossoms, wild violets and bluebells.

So today and this week notice all that is growing and walking right outside your door. The Earth is home to​ all of us from the ladybug to the dandelions to the geese to you.

Pink Moon

Happy Full Moon, my friends. This time I got inspired to create a theme board for what the Full Moon energy feels like to me.

I just saw today the first dandelions and wild violets popping up. I walked out without a jacket and felt the sun warm on my bare legs. Spring is beginning here in The Bronx to truly awaken.

This Moon for me all about the buds of Spring growing.Transforming what is challenging to me to the energy of ease. What tender shoots are growing in your life? What new energies are calling you to dance with them?

Hello Monday

Happy Monday, my friends. I have not posting as much. I had a lot going on a slew of class trips with Jake, dealing with a annoying lingering cold and feeling a bit burnt around the edges.

I feel better now. I finally joined Instagram. I said I wasn't, I didn't want to be spread out to thin. I actually enjoy it. You can find me under my full name: Michelle Swan Graham.

And random things that capture my fancy. So follow me and come say hi. I am even thinking of reviving my you tube channel. Yes, I have one too. The last thing I did was an impromptu monologue. It just came to me and I filmed it. My you tube channel name is the same as my blog: Swanofdreamers.

Perhaps,it is the energy of Spring leading me down new creative roads. Or reopening old roads, I feel ready to dive in to new things.

Hello, my name is Doris

When I saw the trailer for this movie about two years ago, I knew I wanted to see it. Sally Field plays Doris, a woman in her sixties, going through a rebirth with the passing of her mother and falling in love with a younger man. Doris is quirky, filled with insecurities and the audience roots for her from the beginning.

Sally Field is wonderful in this. It is a movie with heart and grit. Just like the wonderful Sally Field. If you can find it, please go watch it. Here is the trailer.Enjoy.
