Birthday Full Moon Sunday

Today is a very special day for me!! If you haven't guessed from the title above of this post. It's my birthday!! Woo hoo!!! I am 47 today.

Here is one of my favorite baby pictures. If you have been to my blog before, you have seen this picture of me at 3 months old. I think I still look pretty much the same.

I'm one of those birthday lovers who not only love to celebrate my birthday but everyone's birthday. Birthdays are special days that needs to be celebrated.

I'm wishing a Happy Birthday to all my fellow Aquarians out there. If your birthday happens to be on January 24th like mine, well you get a special hug from me. We had a crazy blizzard here out on the east coast yesterday. Last night was the Full Moon in Leo. Since the energy of the Full Moon lasts for another two days. I claim this Full Moon for my birthday too.

I always call this moon the Rock Star Moon. Leo Energy is all powerful and radiant like the sun. This picture of Jillian Hervey of Lion Babe echoes all that Rock star energy for me. All my Leo sun and moon babies, this is your special moon. For all of us, where can you be more of a Rock Star in your life? Are you playing second fiddle in your own life? Are you not speaking your truth and dimming your light to allow others to shine. Oh, no more. It's time to be seen, be heard and stand out!! If you are an Aquarius like me, you know we Aquarians love our freedom. If you are not free in parts of your life, it's time to be Free!! This is a recent favorite picture of me in December when I went to Atlantic City. See that big smile, I felt free on that day.

I'm wishing to all of you some of my birthday magic. May the rest of your Sunday and the upcoming week be filled with freedom, glorious self expression and happiness.

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Happy Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I ask everyone to read beyond Dr.King's I have a Dream speech. There are so much more he said and wrote about in his 39 years. I love this quote from Dr. King because it's true. Evil exists in many forms. Or as I say the Sith are real.

"He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it."
- Martin Luther King, Jr.

For Alan...

I love twitter. I hate to wake up to read on my twitter feed someone I really like pass away. We had a lot of famous deaths since 2016 began with Natalie Cole, David Bowie and now, Alan Rickman.

I remember going to see Die Hard and watching Alan Rickman play the villain. I had no idea who he was. I just knew he was amazing to watch on screen. After that, he made his name well known to many movie fans with Robin Hood, The Harry Potter Movies, Sense and Sensibility, Love Actually to name a few.

I can't really put into words what it was about him I liked. Perhaps it partly that incredible voice, that presence he just radiated on screen or that he could play villain, hero, romantic lead all convincingly.

Two of my favorite performances for me of Alan is from Galaxy Quest, which is a hilarious movie, and the telefilm Song of Lunch starring one of his favorite co-stars and friend, Emma Thompson.

I'm sure there are people who can talk more eloquently about Alan Rickman than I. I felt like I had to have this Friday post in honor of him. Sweet Travels, Alan. You will be greatly missed. Thank Goodness we all have this great work he left for us to watch.

I leave you with two videos of Alan reading using that gorgeous voice of his. The first one is Sonnet 130 by Shakespeare and the second a reading from Marcel Proust. Enjoy. Have a great weekend, my friends.

Upper Limit Problem

I read a great book called the Big Leap by Gay Hendricks. He highlighted the idea that most people suffer from an Upper Limit Problem. We only allow ourselves a certain level of good things to happen to us before we engage in acts of unconscious self sabotage. I found that idea intriguing. I totally see how I have done that in my own life from time to time.

I take prosperity classes with my friend, Robert Alvarez. He touches on this all the time. Two of my childhood friends use to worry in relationships about something bad was going to happen. I had the opposite view to just revel in all this goodness that is happening. The basic truth is the more you focus on something, the more it comes to you. Revel on all the good stuff. How good can you stand it? What happens if your dreams come true? Have you ever thought that far? You should. We can all be as happy as Eartha looks right here. Fabulously happy and well off.

When I was trying to get pregnant with my son Jacob. I use to imagine what it felt like telling everybody I was pregnant. How it felt to see my tummy getting bigger every day. I do this over and over until after over 16 months I finally got pregnant! When it finally happened, I was so happy. I owned my happiness and nothing could take that away. I am still over the moon over Jake even now. I prepared myself and stretched my capacity for personal happiness.

"The art of getting beyond our Upper Limit Problem has a lot to do with creating space within us to feel and appreciate natural good feelings. Letting yourself savor natural good feelings is a direct way to transcend your Upper Limit Problem. By extending your ability to feel positive feelings, you expand your tolerance for things going well in your life"
- Gay Hendricks, P.83

George Michael has a lyric in one of his songs that goes something like "What the hell do you do when your dream come true?" Most of us prepare ourselves for the worst, how about preparing ourselves for the best. How would it feel to win and accommplish your greatest dreams, aspirations, goals.

For today, think and feel on that. Stretch your how Good can I get for you range. Right now, after you read this blog post. Spend ten minutes feeling how it would feel to attract, achieve, manifest your most private dreams. Relish in that feeling. If you keep doing this, you will find like I did, you will be in that position where one of your wildest dreams is coming true. You can bask in that moment, own it and say to life give me more of that!! As my mom would say, Why shouldn't your dreams come true!

Dream Thought #80: No Limits

Happy Monday, keep focused on your 2016 goals. You can do it. When I feel tired or discouraged, I remember this amazing quote from Bruce Lee. Have a No Limit day, my friends.

If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.
-Bruce Lee

New Year's Revolutions

Hello my friends, Happy Friday. Happy How has your first full week of the year been treating you? Good I hope. It has been so far, very interesting 2016 for me. That is a good thing.

Have you done your New Year's Resolutions? I heard someone say by accident New Year's Revolutions. I thought that is a good word. I like that. What New Year's Revolutions are you creating in your life? My main goal this year is to release more weight. I started this new get fit regime in mid November. I walk and do sprints. It's great to be outside in my local park even when it's cold. Gives me a great natural high. I'll keep you all posted on how I'm doing.

Did you pick a word for the year? Or words for the year? One of my favorite things I read was do pick a song for your theme of the year. I like that one too. 2015 my word was Wild. At first, it was real quiet. Nothing much happened. Then by Summer, that wild theme came out big time. All kind of unexpected twists and turns came into my life. I found it at times confusing yet most of the time thrilling. This year my word is Bloom. The word popped into my head one day. Intuitively it felt right, so here we are in the year of Bloom for me. One of my favorite definitions of Bloom is a time of great artistry and beauty. I am looking forward to my life to Bloom beautifully in whatever shape or form that fits me the best.

Tomorrow is the first New Moon of the year. If you dislike New Year's Resolutions or just haven't felt like the new year started off right for you, tomorrow is a great day to begin again anew. Write down what amazing things you like to manifest in 2016. They can be as small or big as you like them to be. Seriously, remember you can always restart your life anytime you want. My favorite times are New Moons, First of the Month, Thursdays, Your Birthday, First day of a new season.

Thank you to all my long time readers who still come here and leave comments. To all the new people who found me, welcome aboard. I'm wishing you all an amazing 2016! May it be a year full of Love and good Dreams coming true.

I like to share one of my favorite videos. I may have posted it before. Watch and remember you are Awesome!
