Love Moon

It was 3:15 am, I woke up looking over
at my sleeping two boys: my husband and son.
Sean next to me in the bed and Jacob sleeping
in his crib. Use to Jacob's nightly waking up two or three
times a night, I'm more of a light sleeper now.
I felt a pull on me, I walked to the living room.



The night sky a beautiful midnight blue with clouds
surfing by. There peeking through, the moon came
into view. Bright and luminous. I laid on the
couch and watched the moon for a while. And
let thoughts come up and flow with the moonlight.


I thought about this will be the last
Full Moon in 2012. 2012 has been a wild ride
for me. It is fitting that the last full Moon
is in the sign of Cancer.

All my Sun and Moon Cancer babies this is
a special moon for you. For all of us the
Cancer Full moon is full of sweet, loving
and healing energy.

As the days dwindle down for 2012, let
the watery energy of the moon come in.
Help heal any parts of you that has been
bruised or celebrate the loves you have that
has nurtured you over the year.

Especially celebrate yourself, my friends.
Love your victories and your mistakes.
Love your dreams and your fears.
Love the person you are and the person
you are becoming.

I send you all much love and peace on this
Full Moon. Have a safe and fun New Year's Eve.

Merry Christmas

I love this season of the year. Especially with all the recent
sad events in the news, it is sometimes hard to keep going
with hope and love for yourself and others.

Whatever darkness and shadows have darkened your home this year.
Know that we are made of the best of light and love. You can choose
daily whether to be light or one who blows it out.

Wishing you hope, love and faith on this magical and illuminating
time of the year. Merry Christmas, my friends.

Happy Winter Solstice

Today, the Light returns, my friends. It is
Winter Solstice which also marks the first day
of Winter.



'm a Winter baby. I'm always happy when Winter comes.
Though it's the shortest day of the year,
From this day forward, the sun will
stay with us a little longer.

Yesterday, I decided in honor of the Solstice to
take a walk in a favorite grove of mine near my house.
I've haven't been there since I found out
I was pregnant.

My sweet grove has been decimated with all the storms
and especially Super storm Sandy here in NYC. Only
about four trees have survived. New baby trees
are being planted.

The grove is a place where I feel nature alive
the most in my area. The trees are old
friends to me. I felt like the grove
itself. I've been a mom for 14 months now.
My life has changed radically. I have been
uprooted, pushed, pulled. Change can be beautiful and
challenging.

As I said goodbye to the remaining trees and hello
to the new ones. I promised to come back sooner
rather than later. The trees reminded me they will
be here and that life is change.

I know as I grow into this new stage of my life, I will
be once again blooming and bright like my grove in Springtime.
The weight of outgrown ideas, bonds and even
excess pounds of my body will fall away like old leaves.

I embrace The Light of Winter now. I hope you do too.

No Words

For Newtown. For all those who have been killed by violence
needlessly. For those left behind.

Dream Thought# 48 for 12-12-12

I tweeted this today. Something to think about on this special day.
I feel it sums of what really has sunk in my brain this year.
You can turn around a bad day. (That goes for a bad week, month, or year!)
Take time to breathe, focus and be. Know that you can create your day,
not have it created it for you.

The Rime of the Ancient Mariner

I feel exactly like this First Nation woman here.
I have all these dreams that want to come through.
There is only one me. I have to do it one task at
a time.

Remember to breathe.
Remember to look up at the sky.
Remember to just be.

Though we are in December. Still a few weeks left in
2012 to rock out some more dreams.
