Dreamy Thursday: Old Time Radio Shows

Happy Dreamy Thursday everyone.
I'm sending big kisses to you all
for the wonderful response to my
pictures I showed of Sean, Jacob and I.


For this Dreamy Thursday, I'm sharing
my love of Radio in an 21st century way.
My mom use to share stories of when
she was a kid listening to shows on the radio.
That always fascinated me.




I recently found a treasure trove of radio
shows with classic stars as: Bette Davis,
Joseph Cotten, Cary Grant, Barbara Stanwyck
doing radio versions of movies! They have
Wuthering Heights, My Girl Friday, The Clock,
Snake Pit, Gaslight and so many others.
You have to go check it out for yourself.

Friday Love

Happy Friday, my fellow dreamers.

It's the New Moon in Aries.
All that fiery, strong and courageous
energy floating around us which is
perfect for the beginning of Spring.

This time is special for me, my moon
sign is in Aries, also, that Jacob was
conceived around this time.

Speaking of Jacob. He's now over 9 pounds.
Full of happy energy. He is napping right
next to me in his bobby pillow as I write
this.

Friday being the day of Love. The only day
of the week named after a Goddess, namely
Freya.

It's fitting I share my sweet family love
on this Love Day. We took these in late January.

It is finally Spring! Honestly, with the
warmer weather, it has felt like Spring for
a while. Still..officially Spring is here.

Here is my Spring Altar I did early monday
morning. Full of colored eggs, crystals,
bunnies, a heavenly scented Gardenia
Candle,my green Goddess figurine and my
Unicorn card.

Welcome Spring. We are all so glad you
are here.

Dreamy Thursday : Honey Bee

Guess what? It's Thursday. Which means
it's Dreamy Thursday. I haven't done
a Dreamy Thursday post in ages. The idea
behind Dreamy Thursday is to share things,
people, ideas, places that give me that
warm dreamy in my heart.

About two weeks ago, Sean and I were
watching The Voice. I really liked Blake
Shelton as a judge. It made me curious
about his music. I looked Blake up on
You Tube. I found his song Honey Bee.
Which I now love and the video for
it is so pretty too. I play Honey Bee
every day.

Down with Love

With spring coming, do yearn to watch
a movie that's a candy colored frothy delight?
I have just the movie for you: Down with Love (2003)
starring Ewan McGregor and Renee Zellwegger.

Renee is Barbara Novak whose bestselling book
Down with Love advises women to be able
To have sex without love as men do. It’s a hit with
the ladies and Barbara becomes an literary sensation

The book causes Ewan as Catcher Block,
man around town ladies man who is a journalist,
trouble with his women. He promises to write
one of his famous exposes on Barbara Novak.
To bury her and her book.

Throw in Sarah Paulson and David Hyde Pierce
as their best friends and business partners.
It is a merry chase of love that plays a sweet tribute
to the classic Doris Day and Rock Hudson pictures.

Did I mention the clothes too? So beautifully 60’s
With color and style. Trust me, you will adore
Down with Love.

Full Moon in Virgo

The moon about to appear,

It's that time again. When the
lovely Moon become ripe and full.
She glows beautifully entrancing
all that see her.

This Full Moon comes just two
weeks before Spring. It is our
last Winter Moon and this Full Moon
asks us what are planning for Spring?
What dreams, hopes, adventures or
beginnings beckon you?

As the flowers
come again and the earth wakes up,
what in you is stirring to life?

This Full Moon is in the earthy sign of
Virgo. All my Sun and Moon sign Virgos,
this is your special Moon. For the rest
of us we still bask in the energy of this
Full Moon.

*Make plans to clean out all that clutter
with Spring coming

*Schedule some pampering at a spa or even
a pedicure. (Something I seriously need to do.)

*Experiment with new recipes or buy yourself
a brand new cookbook

*Take control of your finances. Make plans to
save or get rid of debt that is weighing you down.

*Treat yourself to a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

As always, whatever you do. Make it fun, festive and
authentic to you.
