When The Moon wanes

May they all rest in peace:
Dennis Hopper, Art Linkletter
and Gary Coleman.

I grew up watching Gary on Diff'rent Strokes
as a kid. I loved all his t.v. movies he
did on NBC. When I watched him, it fueled
my own personal dreams as an actor.
I know he was haunted by his childhood
stardom and his life after the show
was turbulent to say the least. I
am thankful for your brightest days
in the sun as an actor, Gary.

I always celebrate the new and full
moon on my blog. I realized I haven't
done one about the Waning Moon. After
the Moon is full, she begins to decrease
until she "disappears" from sight to
return as the New Moon.

The time of the Waning moon up until
the New Moon is a potent time
to still utilize La Luna's energy.

This time you can use the energy
to get rid of, banish, release all
that is unwanted, unused, dragging
you down and making you miserable.

Now until June 10th when
the new moon is born again. You
can

* Start your new healthy eating
or work out to release weight
* Leave a dead end job
* Decide to end any relationships
not working for you
* Get rid of clutter and clean
up your junk room
* Pay off debts

Just recently, I wrote down all these negative
thoughts swirling in my unconscious.
I ripped up the paper and burned them
safely in my big seashells. In essence
releasing them from my life and my
mind. I felt a wave of clean energy
flow in my body, afterward.

Use your imagination on what you like
to release under the time of the
Waning Moon. Make sure whatever it is,
will give you more peace and happiness.

Have a safe and wonderful Memorial weekend.

Strawberry Moon

Aw yeah, it's my favorite day of
the week: Thursday.

It's been a busy week for me
with loads of work and being an
assistant director for a friend of
mine on a small film he's producing.
It's been fun and I actually like it.
Surprisingly that I'm enjoying it
since I got a D for my Directing class
at college! (When I got that D, I
was so happy with that grade.)

Guess what? Tonight is the Full Moon
in Sagittarius. This lovely spring moon
has many names; I like the name: Strawberry Moon.
Reminds me of how juicy and sweet life is
when we are really connected to ourselves.

For all my Sagittarius' sun and moon sign
babies..this is your moon. So live it up
because La Luna is on your side.

For the rest of us, we can still use
the luminous moon energy to our advantage.
Use the fire energy of the Strawberry Moon
to re-inspire, reignite or rev up your life.

Remember the energy of the full moon sticks
around for a day after. You can enjoy
the fiery sweetness of the full moon on
Friday, as well.

So, Dance and Be Merry my Friends. I'll
be back on here on Saturday.

Setting your intentions

Happy Monday. A fresh new week to
dive into. One of my favorite
new activities is to set intention for my
day.

Instead of letting the day happen.
I set in my mind what I want to happen
today.

That doesn't mean I'm rigid about
my day. Or I force things to occur
for myself. To me it's like aligning
my personal energy to what I want
to attract to yourself today.

For example, my intention for Monday
is to be a peaceful and creative day
for me.

I have my Shell energy set on this.
Whatever comes, I know in someway the peace
and creativity I desire will weave it's way
into my day.

I believe we co-create our lives with
our Creator. Of course, there are some
events that are out of our hands. I do
feel a lot of our lives we fashion
from our minds and actions.

Try it out today or tomorrow. Set your
intention for your day. See what happens.
Let me know how it goes.

East Side, West Side

Happy Thursday, everyone. Last night,
I watched a gem of a movie. Which is
now on my personal remake list.

In East Side, West Side (1949)
Barbara Stanwych plays Jessie Bourne married
to the handsome and loving Brandon
Bourne played by James Mason. They
appear to be a golden couple.

We quickly find out Brandon is now a recovering
playboy husband. Jessie is sure he's now over
his former mistress Isabel played by Ava Gardner.

What happens when Isabel comes back into town? Will
Brandon leave Jessie for Isabel? Or will an unexpected
man come into Jessie's life showing her what love
can be.

Now..I can't tell you all of that. You have to
watch the movie.

East Side, West Side is chock full of stars
including Cyd Charisse and Van Heflin;
characters actors William Conrad
and William Frawley who later gained fame
as Fred Mertz in I Love Lucy.

I have to give a special shout out to Nancy Davis.
Who we all know better as Former First Lady Nancy
Reagan. This is the third movie I've seen her in.
Had no idea she was a good actor!

I recorded the film from TCM. I'm sure it will be shown
again. To me, you can never go wrong with Barbara
Stanwyck as a leading lady in a film!

Of course, here's the trailer. Enjoy.

The Way of The Swan

Sending all my love and wishes to
all the mothers out there. I'll
be spending the day with my mom
tomorrow.

In honor of the day, I'm going to
share some of the best of my mom's
words of wisdom.
I like to call it The Way of The Swan.
(Sounds very zen like.)

1) Always follow your instincts.

2) Know the consequences of your
actions for good and bad.

3) Your home is your castle.

4) Always do your best.

5) Once in a while you may have
to tell people off, to let them
know you are not to be messed with.

6) It is important to be honest
with yourself.

7) Believe in your dreams.

These truths have saved me time
and time again. Thanks, Mom!

Merry Month of May

Happy Monday.

I must report that I didn't meet up
with any faeries. I still had a wonderful
Saturday; Rising early to go my local
park. Taking a seat under one of my trees
to watch the sun rise; also, witnessing
the dandelions, violets and star flowers
wake up to the sun. It was worth getting
up early.

It was a truly magical weekend. I hope
you all had a fab weekend.

Now, it's back to another brand new
week and first week of Monday! I have
all kind of ideas popping in my
Aquarius brain.

Let's start off the Merry Month of
May in Monday with some fun, shall
we. I have the card of the month up.
Here's my old friend, Bugs to
make you smile.
