Every elf and fairy sprite
Hop as light as bird from brier;
And this ditty, after me,
Sing, and dance it trippingly.
First, rehearse your song by rote
To each word a warbling note:
Hand in hand, with fairy grace,
Will we sing, and bless this place.
-Shakespeare
A Midsummer's Night Dream
Today and Tomorrow all around
the world people are celebrating
Spring festivals. Some call it Beltane,
May Day's Eve, May Day.
Whatever you may call it,
it's about celebrating fertility,
prosperity, beauty and spring time.
It is also a magical time where
some say you can walk, talk and
dance with the faeries.
If you do happen to meet with a faerie,
here are some tips:
Say hello if you meet a faerie.
If you are offered something to drink
or eat, you should decline. Taking
something to eat or drink, will keep
you in faerieland a lot longer than
you wish.(Think Rip Van Winkle.)
If you are given a gift of inspiration,
or creativity after a faerie meeting,
make sure to give something back.
Pledge to get involved in community
clean up, plants trees and flowers
that faeries love or gift someone else
with something lovely they always wanted.
Faeries come in all shapes, size and forms.
Don't expect a faerie to look a certain way
or you might be disappointed.
Do remember that if you are up early on
May Day. Rub some morning dew on your
face, it is said to give you a kiss of
faerie beauty to enhance your own natural
beauty.
Now you wonder have I ever met a faerie?
Alas, I have not. I'll shall see what today and
tomorrow may bring.
Wishing you a happy Beltane, May Day's Eve
and May Day.

Flower Moon
It's the Full Moon, baby.
This moon has many names. I like Flower
and Pink Moon the best. It fits with
life bursting around with in our backyards,
forests, parks, gardens and even within
ourselves.
We all get the urge around Spring to
go on new adventures and see what we like
to create.
It is also the Full Moon in Scorpio.
So if your sun and moon sign is in
Scorpio, this is your moon!
For the rest of us, we can use
the intense and emotional energy
of the Full Moon to kick a bad
habit, change your look to something
daring or pour out your
feelings in any creative work about
things you have kept hidden.
Happy Full Moon, everyone.

Happy Birthday Will
Come, night; come, Romeo; come, thou day in night;
For thou wilt lie upon the wings of night
Whiter than new snow on a raven's back
These are my favorite lines from Juliet's
speech that I'm learning for my own delight.
About 446 years ago, give or take a few days,
a man was born who wrote about beauty, love
death, lust, pain, revenge, hope, faith
and everything any human can experience.
He was an ordinary man with an
extraordinary ability to capture
all of life on paper.
To me, I call him Uncle Will. When I
read his words, I know he lived as
I did. I know there are days
he woke up like me full of sunshine
and dreams; also, He had dark days
where his past weighed on his
heart deeply just like me.
As one of my friends said to me,
Shell, enough with the Shakespeare
already! For me, there can never be
enough Shakespeare. I'm happy to know
others feel the same as me.
Happy Birthday, Will.

Happy Earth Day
Show and send love to Mama Earth.
You don't have to get all obsessed with being
green. Small actions daily lead to big change.
I do my best to not use plastic bags
as much. Put things in my bag and bring
extra cloth bags when I shop.
Use all purpose baking soda with water
to clean around the house. Nixing all
the chemical products to clean with.
Recycle things I don't want via freecycle.
So someone else can use them instead of
throwing it away.
Let's all continue to keep our beautiful
planet clean, green and alive.
Not only for us, also the generations to come.
Wishing you all beautiful Earth Day.

My Favorite things
Hey, it's my favorite day: Thursday.
Sharing my favorite things this week:
1) Salmon. My sweet Anakin got me
a huge piece of Salmon last week.
Also, my mom got me some which I'm
cooking tonight. Yummy. If anyone has
a wonderful Salmon recipe to share
with me, please do.
2) Wearing flowers in my hair. I love to
wear roses, daisies, carnations in my
hair with clips and pins. Makes me feel
all springy and happy.
3) Torchwood. I'm loving this British
sci-fi series. I'm almost finished with
the first season. I just ordered the
second season.
4) I adore John Barrowman. He is just
fab!
5) My friend Neo is finally coming back to
New York today. I can't wait!
Wishing everyone a wonderful Thursday.

Fun for your Saturday
I love this commercial.
Ir is so funny. I tracked
down the actor's name. His name
is Isaiah Mustafa. (I know he was
on Oprah, and I missed it.)
Do I even have to say how
cute he is. Enjoy. Have a
fab weekend everyone.

Kairos
Happy Thursday. I had a great Easter
with my mom. My mini break helped me get
a lot accomplished and fill up with
new ideas.
A few years ago, I learned about Kairos
time. Kairos is the idea of time out of
time. It's that limitless feeling you get
watching a sunrise or a sunset. Or when
your creating, mediating, praying,
or having fun. Time has no concept.
You are in the flow of your
life. That is Kairos.
Kairos time is something I try to do in
life daily. To keep me away from feeling
like time is passing, I'm not doing
x,y,z and I'm way behind on my to do list.
That is time bound thinking which
can cause anxiety, depression and
disconnection.
With the weekend coming right up, stay
aware of natural moments of Kairos that pop
up in your life. Savor this time. You will
find yourself relaxed and become more in
tune with your true self.

Happy April
A brand new month with all kinds
of delicious possibilities before us.
The picture above is where I wish I
could be right about now.
It's also Poetry month and
what I recently learned Jazz month too.
I decided to take a couple of days off
to celebrate April and work on some creative
adventures that is calling me right now.
I should be back by Wednesday or Thursday.
For those who celebrate: Have a Happy Easter.
And for those not celebrating, have a beautiful
weekend and coming week.
